Bigger companies ALWAYS have plenty of people complaining about customer service - volume of sales. It means nothing.

It's quite simple really. I speak to 1000's of potential customers, and I ask them all what mattress they have at the moment in order to get an idea what would be suitable. One comment that I seem to be hearing more and more is 'my previous mattress only lated one year'. Then when I ask them what brand the mattress was then 99.9% of the replies are that it was one of the Silentnight group. And yes a huge number of those are Rest Assured and Sealy, but most are Silentnight (probably because they have the biggest market share).

So these are facts, but as most of the conversations were over the telephone then the only way to prove it would be to contact all the people who have said this to me, and get them to back me up. Obviously I'm not going to do that.

So as I said before, you can either take my advice or not, the choice is yours. But lets not have any more big arguments in this forum please.

I've asked a few other sellers who sell La Romantica and they seem to put them in the budget area. Still, I guess being cheaper doesn't have to mean they're inferior.

Fair enough. I suspect there's a general drift in quality of every single product made in the last few decades, through mass production and other cost cutting techniques. That said, how do you know a La Romantica bed will last the distance, and if they are superior quality, why do they only offer a 12 month guarantee? That strikes me as lacking in confidence about the product they make!

So how long will the La Romantica Madrid last, assuming all things being equal?

Eh? Am I not allowed to ask someone who sells a product how long its shelf-life is?

And you seem to comment a great deal on what your competitors may gain from. I am merely seeking to redress balance.

Not wishing to get involved in the argument, but can anyone at all tell me or name a few shops the La Romantica bed range are sold? They do seem rated highly in this thread and I'd like to actually go and have a look at one and see what I think.

But I can't find a single shop selling them and can only find two online shops selling them. So if anyone knows where I can actually go and look at one before deciding if I should shell out cash on it, I'd be grateful.

google la romantica madrid and on the first couple pages throws up about 5 different shops

neither the 2 local bed shops in my area had heard of the la romantic range

Al of these shops are online though, doesn't anyone know of a shop I can visit and check them out?
