Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. I'll get back to you by tomorrow at the latest though.
I suppose my other subjects would be fire safety as I've been a firefiighter for over 15 years, and electroplating ( I used to run an electroplating company).0 -
Can someone please please narrow down the selection of mattress's, I spent most of yesterday reading throught page after page of B/S advertising.
There has to be a few mattress's that are out on their own as regards quality and price? If you've found one please let me know, before I crack up, I'm not enjoying all this research.
Thanks again
Cheers

You haven't even said how firm you like your mattress, what type of mattress, or your budget???0 -
Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to buy pegboard, as my bed has slates that are about 4" wide.In Progress!!!0

The whole bed buying is a minefield. I want to get a superking bedstead - should I get a sprung one? Is there any advantage to this over the fixed slats in terms of comfort?
I want to get a good pocket sprung mattress too, do I need a special type of mattress for a bedstead? I'm intending to spend about £1000 for the mattress. Hypnos has been mentioned to me by a friend as one to consider.0 -
£1000 for JUST the mattress?!?

As for the shakespear. I haven't heard of the brand, but the fact that it is a pocket sprung mattress (even if it may be an entry level one) makes it by far the better buy out of the two.
Hi guys,
I have been following the various mattress discussions on this site with interest and just registered. I am about to buy a matress myself.
Re the Shakespeare mattress.... I believe Shakespeare may be the same/ sister company of Kozeesleep.

Tim, thanks for your posts, and lots of free information. Do you think they are one and the same? I've heard good things about Kozeesleep (and so possibly, by association, Shakespeare)
Cheers

You should be able to buy pegboard at a timber yard. There is one down the road from me which does it; they also sell wooden floors and kitchens. They do the pegboard cut to size. Or maybe a DIY kind of place, the old fashioned kind.0 -
