We went to Bensons looking for ideas etc too, and the range was poor, the staff non-existent and too many 'big-brand' products. They do look to stock Relyon which is recommended, but prices are steep. Do a forum search on Dreams and you'll see how many complaints there are! Googled Helibeds and got this from a forum "Helibeds are very good at what they do. But they are not value for money. The profit margain that they work on is very very high indeed. I guess they have to pay for all that stock. You will not find brand names in Helibeds. Shop there if you need a bed quickly. Otherwise shop around you will get better value for money elsewhere. You will not get quality expensive stuff, its expensive middle of the road stuff. I should know I worked at one of their stores for 3 and half years.".

    Sorry :o

I've just entered the maze of mattress buying as ours is now over 10 years old and had it. It is a Millbrook and was great for a long time so I quite like the idea of another one but am open to other things. I was wondering if someone would mind commenting on two I have seen :

    http://www.bedstar.co.uk/shop/customer/product.php?productid=33714&cat=&page=1 A Millbrook Emperor

http://www.bedstar.co.uk/shop/catalog/Millbrook_Serenity_5FT_Mattress-p-27905.html Millbrook Serenity - like the idea of this as have been using a memory foam topper which we both like.

    Any help very gratefully received

Harrison & Myers are at the larger end of the independant mattress amnufacturers but you will still get good quality. Do not bother with Sealy or Silentnight fullstop, they are both part of the same company and quality has free-falled in preference of profit.

Definately worth a look, and they may be able to get more variety if you enquire?

Has anyone had experience of using costco to purchase a mattress and the delivery service they offer? (Specifically the Chester Branch)

Is is free, if not what are their charges like?

    Thanks
    Andy

Not exactly specialist is it? Is it just a guest bed or yours? I'd want something a little more 'quality' than 'value' if it were for me. Some can sleep on the floor and not have it bother them, so I guess it's down to personal preference!
