Total points received - 2720
Total to pay - £36.56
Was really pleased with that! :T
Tried to use the TS free PC voucher but I hadn't met the conditions. Also tried to use the No7 £5 pc voucher, handed it over first, but it beeped - knew I had loads of vouchers so wasn't going to fuss over the first one! But I knew I'd met the conditions as total after 3for2 was £21.25I'm sure that happened to me on almost this same combo but with dark spot facial sun when 3for2 first started.
They didn't have any elle mini's but I'd already decided I wanted the GWP - ummed and ahhed but got it anyway! Thought the garnier stuff would go through free, but was happy enough with 4.50 for 2.
Got everything on my list apart from the TS Ltd edition protect and style which they didn't have - really happy, but was in the shop an hour  and it was absolutely packed in there!0 -

Spoke to lil sis BF who is BioChemist at Manchester Uni about Smiley. Asked if any dangerous ingredients in Smiley, and he said,
Dont be so ridiculous.Thats like saying Drinking chocolate in your kitchen cupboard will kill you pet:rotfl:
On a serious note, he did say to whoever first posted the concern to make sure you quote EXACTLY where you read this. As manufacturers can get very angry over scares in relation to their products. We wouldnt want the Boots thread to backfire on Martin or MSE.
I don't find this at all amusing.
I first posted the concern, as there was mention of Theobromine in the Smiley perfume, and I wondered if anyone on here knew, or could ask advice from someone. There have been recent instances of Theobromine poisoning in dogs who have eaten garden mulch. I asked for advice. I'm not a chemist, I don't know what a lethal dosage is. How am I to know if a little puppy who licks perfume from my wrist will ingest enough to get sick?
I wonder what the BioChemist at Manchester Uni would have said if a month ago he'd been asked whether eating garden mulch would be harmful to a labrador?
I don't have dogs, a garden, or Smiley perfume. Doesn't stop me caring about those who do.
I'm sorry if I have offended anyone.0
