Oh I'm such a dunce. Shot into Boots 10 mins before closing yesterday and was delighted to find some Time Delay Microdermabrasion stuff reduced. Thought I'd picked up the kit with the exfoliating machine thingy for 4.99, and a 'system replacement pack' with extra exfoliating cream and sponge heads, for 2 quid. Was really pleased until I noticed the kit didn't contain the machine thing at all, just the cream and moisturiser!
Does anyone have the machine, is it necessary or can I just use the cream like a normal scrub?

To add to my annoyance I've only just realised I could probably have used the Time Delay points vouchers too...

    update from Peterborough today :

    Smiley sets 11.75

Ted Baker green bags half price --bought the 15.00 one for 7.50

No clearance to speak of . Vouchers from centre of mag will not scan . Got one put on manually but refused to do another- said they must be used alone not with a till spit.

DH went to Heathrow Boots today and needed some mens no 7 , so I gave him his nice new card and a 500 points off no7 voucher I had aquired. He texted me this pm to say they would not take it as the name did not match- this was checked first before attemptng to scan it . He said they would not give it back! I must train him up --any true Bootster knows that it is always worth trying again!

Thanks YummyMummyCat, will have a look out next time I'm near a Boots for the machine. They seem to be changing the whole Time Delay range though...oh well, fingers crossed, at least it's a good scrub anyway! That'll teach me to panic-buy...

Oh my goodness it has taken me about 2 hours to read all the posts since saturday!! I am going into boots tomorrow armed with my vouchers. I want to do the med one is this still on and what is the best product to buy? I also want to do the expert one, any one offer me any advice i have one coupon. Is the elle glitch still on? I would like to try but would hate for it to be coming up at 9.95! I also have 2 till spits to use so i was thinking of doing the toni and guy or model me to get the 500 points but i dont really understand it. Also how come some people get charged for the more expensive TS product?

Ok rambling over any help would be great!
    Thanks xx

I left my expert vouchers at home  divvy.

There wasn't much charles worthington left but I got some texturising paste reduced to £1.13 for free with till spits, I think there was something for £2.26 left so would be pennies after the voucher. Also got 1 elle £2 mini and a GWP, some JF serum free with till spits (loads of them left) and some expert wax strips to hide the glitches. I need to defuzz while I can still see anything past my bump.

Oooh and the most exciting thing - on the clearance shelf by the front door, apart from lots of gunked up makeup... there were 2 boxes of Garnier summer face moisturiser. Got one, double checked that they had the special offer on it, and yay! It went through free. I left the other one for the rest of you to fight over. :D

Oh and I managed to earn another till spit  so I gave up and left that one on the shelf in Cowley Centre. :rotfl:

You could have had two of the £1.13 for 26p :)

I went to the Retail Park after work - there were no CW £1 items, but lots of the £1.95 serums, so used all my hair vouchers and got a couple of Elle things, because I couldn't say no....

I got home and unpacked all my baggage and out floated - yet another hair voucher - where the heck did that come from?!? I was so pleased that I had managed to use them all up !!!!

Spoke to lil sis BF who is BioChemist at Manchester Uni about Smiley. Asked if any dangerous ingredients in Smiley, and he said,

Dont be so ridiculous.Thats like saying Drinking chocolate in your kitchen cupboard will kill you pet:rotfl:

On a serious note, he did say to whoever first posted the concern to make sure you quote EXACTLY where you read this. As manufacturers can get very angry over scares in relation to their products. We wouldnt want the Boots thread to backfire on Martin or MSE.
I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A
