Oh my goodness it has taken me about 2 hours to read all the posts since saturday!! I am going into boots tomorrow armed with my vouchers. I want to do the med one is this still on and what is the best product to buy? I also want to do the expert one, any one offer me any advice i have one coupon. Is the elle glitch still on? I would like to try but would hate for it to be coming up at 9.95! I also have 2 till spits to use so i was thinking of doing the toni and guy or model me to get the 500 points but i dont really understand it. Also how come some people get charged for the more expensive TS product?

Ok rambling over any help would be great!
    Thanks xx
TIP for the TS thingy is to get one product ( most expensive) from the long hair range and another from the 'normal' TS range, voucher says free long hair product with any purchase fom the TS professional range, as voucher beeps more often than not the SA overrides till to take of the long hair item as that is the one the voucher says is free
Model me glitch is voucher from mag (250 points which beeps ) and ACM voucher for 250 points plus till spit , shampoos are £4.99 so you pay £2.99 with 500points...I have been extremely lucky and have done this 5 times..each time the SA has had too manually add the mag voucher..however when vouchers beep SA's tend to scrutinise them and it does say one one voucher/coupon per transaction ( or something like that!)
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Thanks for that I think I am more likely to go for the TS one as I use this and it seems a better deal I know you get 500 points with the other but I cant be bothered with the hassel of the SA reading and saying no to me. In regards to the Med bogof is this still working with a coupon and whats the best thing to buy?

    Thanks xx

If your store is that strict, I would be careful about trying the expert glitch using two vouchers. I *think* it was something similar (using two of the same vouchers with different barcodes) that caused a Bootser big trouble earlier this year. They cut up her card, questioned her about children's birth dates as they were PC coupons (and her kids were "virtual"), and were generally very nasty. I think she got it all sorted in the end, but it was hideous and she could've lost all her points.

There have been a disturbing number of reports by Bootsers about SAs threatening to report them over just using till spits or other completely innocent transactions. With the wrong SA, this glitch could really blow up in your face! If you know your SAs are tough, be extra careful!

I have tip for anyone worried about even using one voucher - if SA queries why you are using it in conjunction with the 2 for £3 promotion tell them that you want the parenting club offer instead because it is better. I said this with the custard coupon earlier in the year and of course got the extra money off.:D

there is also a voucher at ACm for 100points on TS purchase so perhaps use this also , I have done this one a few times too, voucher always beeped.
With regard to the model me one the first time I did i I went to my fave SA as I don't feel embarrassed if it doesn't work and she will tell me straight, however she is on holiday and yesterday just thought I would go for it again. So I asked the SA first if she would do it as the voucher beeped, she just said that they have been advised to add the points manually as the voucher does not scan and as the other vouchers did not beep there was no problem.

  • I got a elle gwf today with a £2 mini, i think the stuff smells ok, it does smell a bit like washing up liqid, but i think its nice :) i would have got more, but that was the last £2 mini, the next cheap thing was £4.95 so i didnt bother, gonna keep a look out for it tho. Does anyone know when the offer finishes?

I bought Cosmopolitan magazine yesterday (august edition) I only bought it for the free bag:D but, inside I found a voucher booklet. There's one for 1/3 off Mark Hill products at boots:j Today (not been bootsing for quite a few days, so made up for it;) ) I got this 798032.jpgDe-frizz shine serum @ 5.99 I used cosmo voucher and 2.00 tillspit. Paid 2.00

I also got 2 elle GWP's with 2 minis. I wish I'd saved my 400points now. This stuff smells worse than cheapo washing up liquid. DD said she likes it, so I've given it all to her:D

will post shopping list later...when I find my receipts:rolleyes:

Spoke to lil sis BF who is BioChemist at Manchester Uni about Smiley. Asked if any dangerous ingredients in Smiley, and he said,

Dont be so ridiculous.Thats like saying Drinking chocolate in your kitchen cupboard will kill you pet:rotfl:

On a serious note, he did say to whoever first posted the concern to make sure you quote EXACTLY where you read this. As manufacturers can get very angry over scares in relation to their products. We wouldnt want the Boots thread to backfire on Martin or MSE.

I wouldn't worry, there's been stuff in media about feeding chocolate to dogs today and I doubt it came from here!!!
