I remember last years big sale being during the school summer holidays or maybe just as the kids went back to school, in Durham anyway.

I picked up a few bargains in a small branch of Boots and the SA pointed out they had much more in the nearby big branch. I wasn't a Bootser at that time so just thought I would check it out another day. Two days later and I'd missed all the good stuff, though what was left had gone to 90% off.

It would make sense that they would have the instore sale later in the summer so that they can clear the space for Christmas stock. I hope I haven't missed it, though I don't really need any more stuff :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Maybe we should post when our stores are having the big sale, so people popping in and out, can check for themselves for their stores. And when finished, we could put date Sale finished, so they know?

I know its more work for CPG, so will leave it for her to decide. After all she is doing a FANTASTIC job of keeping this forum updated.:T

I don't think we've missed it, we don't usually miss much that's going on in the Durham stores :rotfl:
I don't think there were any signs last year though, maybe a little one at the bottom of the stairs like the post-Christmas sale, it was all just on the shelves in the usual place upstairs.

Instore there was a sale late july/early aug according to my debit card statement...hard to tell the date as boots takes ages to show on statements
