Jack is on the hungry baby one which is the white tin, he is getting so big sometimes I wonder if I feed him too much, everyone I meet says oh hes a big boy isnt he :rotfl: he is 17lb 14oz does that sound really big to you guys he is 24 weeks old.
    quote]

if I could find my baby book I would tell you, but he sounds normal weight to me.

My DS should be around 20lb I think ,he is 8 and a half months old. after 6 months, they don't put on weight as quickly, I think only 1lb a month? can tell you after tuesday when he has check up.

MRS T's ds is literally SPOT on, for a bottle fed baby.

My little one eats like a ganet and constantly, plus insisted on weaning at 3 months(stealing food lol), was chewing meat at 5 months(had 8 teeth) and at 9 months he was eating the quantity of most 18 month olds...yet remained 'apparently' under weight

I would not worry about over feeding MRS T, babies rarely over eat, you may be a first time mum, but instincts are better than weight charts that were formulated in 1996

Anyway, better a chubby chops than a baby who refuses to eat :D

No idea how to keep this boots related :rotfl:

    snipped

oh I wish mine would eat a little more than mashed Boots organic products and Hipp organic and Plum organic bottle food! (Got it in!)

I have tried giving him pasta, etc, cut into tiny bits, but he turns his nose up at it. But now he has 2 teeth, it will probably be easier to get him to eat more solid food, won't it? He quite likes the boots rusks for 9mth plus babies, he chews the legs off the teddy bears!

You are spot on - all Mam's worry too much they are not coping with their child correctly, yet usually are spot on because after all they are MUM. Maybe there should be an article about this on the Parenting site.

You have just made me feel better about me a Mam too!

Better goto bed, DS will be up at 6am for brekkie!

I Better stop chit chatting so much or we will get a visit from andrea on monday :rotfl: am sure that is last thing CPG needs after a weekend of battling it out, at the sales :D

aureol212 will pm you about food, was childminder for a few years and am a qualified nutritionist, so may have a few ideas you can try, save bunging up the thread :D

yummy_mummy_cat .... tried to reply to your pm's about a dozen times, think there is a gremlin in the system:rolleyes: , will try again in the morning :) EDIT: I got my reins(not that I need yet) for £1 and £1 post off of fleebay, bunged them in the washing machine(suspect they are handwash lol) and they were like brand new, so may be worth a try if you can not pick up from a boots :)
