I also orderred PS5 from them and it arrived in a few days, am also going to order MS Office 2010 and the Office 2011 for Mac when they have it on CD/DVD as its worth buying at the discounted price ;o))
  • my software would not load / install because it was only an upgrade to one specific earlier version which I did not have, and no refund obtained, BEWARE
  • Kenwpavitt. Specifically what version of what are you upgrading from and to?
Maybe someone will be able to offer a work around of some descriuption....

[Note - I am not anything to do with Software4Students and I merely wish to see if you can get going with your software]

  • Ive been using this site for the past 6 months!
Ive bought Windows, Office for PC and Mac and two Adode products
I had some dificulties and found the customer support team very helpful each time Ive had to ring them (I will admit I have rang them quite a bit lol)....

Would very easily recommend this site for buying software and dont understand why some people have trouble.

Plus the Irish guy on the phone has a se*y accent LOL!!

I used them once, bought Office 2010, on CD not download

Absolutely no problems at all, delivered within a week, worked without hassle

I always opt for hard copy given a choice, seems sense to me, why risk a download with all the possible problems that could arise?

Royal Mail have had numerous delays over the past 3 weeks. They have even withdrawn Special Delivery guarantee option.

I haven't had post in over a week now. Not worried. It'll come.

yep, pretty sure that's what it says on the website, they can't be held responsible for postie. I get a little confused when I see this thread is full of people (myself included) who've used this company sucessfully...yet people still turn up every couple of days wondering if it's a scam...can they not read back a couple of posts?

  • Well It looks like I've been spoiled then by shopping at Amazon plus I posted some Ram memory back to a company in UK and it took 2 days sorry but I've been through a few scenarios like this and by the time action is taken (give it 21 days after I have already waited 14 ) seems a little complacent or perhaps it's me being cynical it happens when you've been had a few times before hope your proved right. Regards to all

That's because for ordinary 1st or 2nd class post it cannot be considered 'lost' by the PO for 21 days after the date of posting. Only then can the sender can make a claim for it, assuming they have a POP.
If you order from say, Play.com you will find that exactly the same terms apply.
