The only thing I would say is 100mb internet is overated, especially as the 50mb is going to 100mb anyway.

The traffic shaping on all tariffs now mean that imo 50mb is the sweetpoint if you must have a fast connection...

remember, its only as fast as what you're connecting to.

If it were me, I would go to 50mb and get movies and HD channels, thats fundamentally the VIP pack - around £102 all in normally...

Then that's really cheap, about £25 less than it should be...

Hi, I'm paying £61 for the following -

    TV Size: X L
    Broadband Size: L
    Talk Unlimited
    Phone line rental

Is this too much? Would it be possible to get it for less? Just seems a lot to me
    Thanks

Hi sparrer, If i was you i'd give retentions a call 150 option 5 and then option 2. I rang them last friday to give 30 days notice and the outbound retentions rung me on monday. They gave me a deal £78 for tv xl 100mg internet and weekend phone as i don't use it a lot, sky sports collection and sky movies too. So its well worth it, if your out of contract that is or if your still in contract still worth giving them a ring. All the best.
  • Hello
I was on £50 per month for M+ TV, L Broadband and XL calls with the 08 add and I have been offered a new price at about £35 for the same thing, except the 08 add on which I ditched, but I want more!

It really annoys me that they charged me so much for so long when they didn't need to. I am concerned that if I cancel, they won't call back as my bill of £50 or £35 per month isn't a huge earner for them.

Are we sure that they always call back?
  • Also!

Can I call up and uncancel if they have not called me to offer anything better?

they should call back if they have enough information on record for you.

If they don't call you back int he 30 day notice period then you just call them back and cancel the cancellation...your call back should be within the first week...
  • Thanks! I have a month or so to go until the end of my contract. Is this likely to affect anything?
