has anyone managed to get the v+ box installed for less than £150?
I am getting at the moment, tv xl, bb l, tv xl, and call international and i am paying £38.90 a month,
they are doing the v+ box for no monthly charge if on xl tv but you still have to pay the £150 install fee.
anyone got this reduced? dont mind paying around £50 but not £150!!!0 -
Just called and got the following deal. I had been paying £45 pm (incl a £4 lifetime discount) for this
L Broadband (currently 4Mb, but supposed to be increasing to 10Mb on 1st October. Nice lady called Jan said this was latest info she had from VM, but couldn't swear on it.
L TV
M Phone
Now cut to £31 pm for as long as I stay. Did ask that I stayed for 12 months, but I have no problem with that.0 -
Pray how did you get that, I have that set up but all medium exept for XLtv £38 (with caller id and international caller), fancy the 20 meg BB tho.
I have 20mb BB but to be honest it aint any faster than 10 meg and not much faster than 2 or 4 meg for internet surfing - unless you are downloading lots of stuff off FAST web sites... stick with the cheaper speeds:beer:Never pass up the opportunity to take a pee!:p0 -

I was paying £38.75 for the following after phoning to complain about losing sky one:
Phone M: £11
TV Size L: £1
Broadband size L: £25
Caller display: £1.75
I had started the process of porting calls back to BT and 2 days later I got a call from retentions offering me the following which to took (subject to another 12 months tho):
Phone size M, Broadband XL, and the XL TV package plus free caller display, all together was £37, they will also sort canceling the move to BT.0 -
I too have found that every time you threaten to leave they cut the bill a bit but my response to that is why is it not that much cheaper ALL THE TIME? Did you find the service any better tho? Everything someone else said about talktalk I feel about NTL - indian call centres who cannot understand and continually tell you there is no problem with your line when you haven't been able to access your email all day and they say it's 4mb but it doesn't perform anywhere near that. Strange how our Slingbox suddenly stopped working which cd only have happened if the line was dropped while we were 1000s of miles away but it was still our router according to them. Plus the fact that to go from a cab0
