I want a laptop basically! My budget is no more than £300 and it s really only for going on the net. Got a main computer for pics/music etc.
Ive been looking for the past couple of days and am totally baffled by the different ranges out there!
Does anyone have any recommendations????

I Just baught the Dell Inspiron From Tesco for £369, it is £25 cheaper then buying direct from Dell, its a good laptop with long battery life, only graphics let it down, but what do you expect for the money.

Hi everyone
First of all sorry if I am in the wrong place - still trying to find my way around!!! I know the one I mention is just over 400 (not in line with the thread) so maybe you can help me get one under £400
I am looking to buy a laptop asap - need it to go into hospital with next weekdont know a huge a amount about them but I do want one that 'works' quickly - I use XP home edition at the mo but all the new pc/laptops seem to be vista - I would like one with spreadsheeets etc - not too heavy (I have a muscle disease) - my budget is about £450 less if poss!!!
Saw this on tesco direct - dell inspiron1525/t5750 £429 - seemed like a good buy - can anybody advise or can I get what I need cheaper somewhere else - we have comet/pcworld/asda and tesco here
thanks

Hi hunsbury0
thanks for the link - Staples site says its for business cutomers only?? I am guessing that you think this is a good laptop? I though it was better to have core 2 duo processor rather than a dual core - or have I got it the wrong way round?
