  • Hi Physco - Just to add if you log on to your course website, the calendar is on there too. Tick off and make sure you have everything in your parcel.
  • Thanks guys... :D

I actually had a proper proper look yesterday and have filled in the dates on timetable, the first week of which I already completed when I got the stuff. I then started looking at the book, and it has activities at the end of the chapters which now make sense to me... I was just sort of wondering where the hell it all fitted in and how I knew if I was learning (if that makes sense??!)

It's just my usual trick of worrying over not a lot!! :o

  • Hi Gerturdeanna,

    Welcome to the thread :-)

How are you finding Portales? I was tempted to try it, but wasn't sure how I would get on with accents etc on my own! :o

Hi, I am having a few issues here. I have previously done 2 Open Uni courses and how I passed I don;t know as if you asked me a question now I wouldn't have a clue. My current courses, I have followed all the material from the start and I am lost totally, may as well not even bother reading the material as I do not have a notion. However I pass as its quite simple all the answers are in the material supplied, I am not actually learning anything. I wonder of anyone else is similar?

hi Nirelandguy, what course are you doing?

Can you give your tutor a ring to see if he/she can help you out? Or if there aren't available try regional office or HO in Milton Keynes they are always very helpful if i ever need any information.

Hi, I think half the problem is I got an E in GCSE English, 99% of the material is wrote in fancy language which I do not have a clue about, If It was wrote in bog standard English I might stand a chance. Below is my latest TMA mark, which for someone who does not have a clue isn't to bad, Now if you asked me a question about a subject in the TMA now I would not have a clue
