lol - thank Bagpuss, I just read absolutely everything! I notice you're in Wales - you should get a lot more funding than us over the border - I think your course grant is over £1k, we get £255! There is a parents allowance that you could claim (if you have children, obviously) that we don't get either.

Just got my results back for MU120 TMA01 (i) - I got 100% again :j I'm not sure I can maintain this consistency, but I'm very excited at the moment!

I won't be posting my results for DD100 TMA01, as I haven't finished it yet and it has to be submitted by midnight tomorrow . I'll be lucky to pass that one!

Aww thanks, Bagpuss. I'm made up!

I'm really, really enjoying the MU120 course and consequently remembering what I read. The DD100, however, seems to fall out of my head within seconds of reading it . I have absolutely no motivation for this essay and plan I've got to do :o

    Hi Mouseymousey99

I am doing law with the OU/College of Law. I have done W100, W200 and am awaiting the results of W201.

I am registered for W300 next year.

OMG not been on for a few weeks can't believe how many people are joining in now. I have had a total nightmare 2 weeks. Thought I would be organised and get my TMA 7 in last Thursday, only to be greated by a baby with an ear infection and OH with man flu. Couldn't get anywhere near the computer till Sunday when I came down with septic tonsillitis. So I was up till midnight last night doped up on anti- biotics and paracetamol, trying to finish off the last bits.

Not to fussed at the moment though- it is only the first assignment and only worth 4%. Bit gutted at the timing of everything though. Sods law!! lol:confused:
  • Hi all -
Holly Hello - How did you find W200 please? I'm using the degree (I hope to get) to lop some years of the LLB. I'm also using the 'free' units on European Law & EHRC before Feb. Fingers crossed for W201.
Coljacks - hope you feel a bit better...
We have our own OU cafe!! Anyone hear 'High Ho Silver Lining' in the background???

    Hi,

I really enjoyed W200. The first part is the English Legal System, and the second half is the European Law part. Initially, the hardest part was learning to answer the problem questions, as they are so different to normal essay questions.

In general I thought the course was really well presented, probably a lot better than W201 was, as the constitutional law part seemed to be a bit all over the place at times!
