Hi everyone; I've had a toasted cheese sandwich and a long hot bath, thought I'd sit and do a bit of knitting and promptly fell asleep.
Welcome back, MeanMarie - glad you had a good time.
GB -sorry if it's been quiet without me!
RedRuby - so glad your DD is well enough to go back to school; hope her knee gets better soon, now.
Beth - glad you've managed to arrange a few days in France. I hope to be going at the end of August, beginning of September. The good thing about France is that the pace of life is so much slower than here and does you good; you just have to go along with it. It always reminds of the UK about thirty years ago!
Well, I'm going to have a quick mooch around and then go to bed.
See you in the morning.

Welcome back MeanMarie, we heard from a little bird;);) that you were loving Australia. Is it wet enough in the emerald isle for you? I don't think there was a single rainless day in all the time you were absent. It was your birthday when you were away too - hope you had a good one - we were thinking of you.
Earlier today I took some cod fillets out of the freezer for today and tomorrow's dinner. Obviously being old style I cooked the two of them today. When I was scoffing mine my cats disappeared...no I didn't eat them...they'd gone to the kitchen. Turns out the little beggars were on the cooker helping themselves to my dinner for tomorrow. I console myself by the fact that the two fillets cost 90p and what the cats had cost about the same as their normal food:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am such a softie.
OMG look at the time, it's nearly tomorrow. Good night everybody, sleep well.
