Evening all!:D
I've finally found time to get on the computer!
Yesterday I managed to spend over £300  on both of the girls on new uniforms, shoes and lots of equipment for their new schools. At least I managed to get most of the required stuff in a day. I need to get it now as we'll be away for a month in Oz over the summer. Then we sat and watched the fab ending of Dr Who and I managed to watch it again today whilst doing the ironing.:D
Today has been pretty busy too as this morning I taught Sunday school and had a few things to set up on the church computer. I then phoned my DB in Oz to arrange a few things and spent the rest of the afternoon sorting out paperwork for sunday school, ironing, stripping beds, washing and drying, making packed lunches and then we had an easy tea of ham/mushroom sauce with pasta...and that's the end of the weekend. I think I managed to blink and miss it!
Tomorrow I need to do a small a grocery shop and then 'force' mysef to fiinish off some records/assessments for school.
Right that's all from me, sleep well.:D0 -

I think I know what a heart attack might feel like now - planning my retro kitchen, thought a SMEG fridge would look nice in it so looked them up...HOW MUCH?????
Anyway, today I did a few Ebay listings, cleaned the bathroom - used vinegar to clean the toilet for the first time, quite effective (although my toilet wasn't really very dirty)
Have put on my ham to cook in the slow cooker, in apple juice. I hope it comes out alright.
Re: the larder unit which I want - I know they come up on Ebay quite regularly, but this one has 3 doors and a plate rack, which I have never seen before...hence the appeal
. maybe I should just downsize and go for one with 2 doors that isn't over 300 miles away We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Is it specialist school uniform? DD bought the sweatshirt, gym bag, school bag etc from school but then did M&S 3 for 2 for the trousers, extra polo shirts, etc and only cost about £25. He looks so grown up in it all that we have all wept buckets for when he starts in August. Just the school shoes to get.

Don't go down the SMEG thing. I looked into all sorts of things before doing up the kitchen and that was not an option. Let me know if you want any advice. I just love my new kitchen.
