This company accepted my order on the web site, which was fine as the delivery charge was okay for 4 items. They then sent an Email saying that I couldn't have that many and they changed the order to 2 items. Still the same delivery charge so the deal was now no better than I could get in the high st.

I've used CD a few times. Mostly good value but delivery times are very variable, sometimes next day, sometimes weeks (which ain't any good if you need medicine...)
I've got a theory that if you place your order during working hours it gets actioned straight away. Place out of hours/weekend , orders can disappear into a black hole... If you contact them they'll say somethings 'out of stock'/ 'its at the warehouse' etc, but remarkably your order then gets delivered next day i.e. they've forgot/mislaid it0 -
It's my 1st time buying chemist stuff online. Was almost put off by some of the neg comments about this Co. but decided to take the risk due to the low prices. Ordered 2 items £52 on Sun 11/07. I was kept informed via email.
Items delivered today Wed 14/07/10. Cheap - Easy - Quick. What more can I write.

Some people suggest their service is improving I disagree.
I placed an order for an item which was shown as in stock. After waiting for almost a week for the item I contacted them. They claim to have sent me an email telling me the item was out of stock (I never received such an email) and would be in stock in another 2 weeks. When I explained that their web site said the item was still in stock they just said they would try and get their web team to change the status. Clearly the stock levels are meaningless.
Very reluctantly they agreed to cancel my order, which I have now placed with Amazon instead.
I'd advise everyone to look elsewhere for a product and only use them if it is a last resort and don't rely on their stock levels.0 -

garbage company. Out of stock item that would "be with you shortly" dragged out to over a month, by which time i had obtained it elsewhere.
Then took a several emails and another month to get my refund.
However, i got Quidco for the full order, so made a couple of quid out of them (i accepted the money as time wasted and sheer frustration caused by this inept company!)0 -

After this They said i have to wait for 15days after the despatch date for them to claim from Royal Mail. I waited and then i gave a call and asked to resend the items. Finally i got the items almost after 45 days of my order. So this was my first experience. *******************************************************

I never received my order, After 15 days i called them and asked about my order then they had send me a mail to fill out royalmail claim from and to post it to their address.
Proof for these are below.

TWO REASONS NOT TO USE CHEMIST DIRECT
1.Ordering from Chemist Direct may expose you to spam emails:
Received SPAM definetly due to Chemist Direct
Had two registrations, one on a brand new GMail account
The other e-mail account is another webmail provider, which whilst not a new e-mail account has never had SPAM before and I am very careful on who I give my e-mail to (Keeping a log of which websites I register with).
Both accounts received practically identical SPAM, Pharmacy and Viagra related.
I am certain as I can be that this SPAM was due to Chemist Direct.
Either they are harvesting e-mails themselves for SPAM usage!
Or their controls over customer data are very weak!
SAME RESULT EITHER WAY STAY AWAY :mad:

My email account is set up such that all mails sent to @JamesWiseman.com will end up in the same mailbox. So, think of a word, put it in front of @JamesWiseman.com, send me an email, and I will get it.
So, when I sign up for SomeService.com, the email address I give is ‘someservice@jameswiseman.com’.
Today, I recieved a spam email with a ‘To’ address that contained the name ‘ChemistDirect’. I bought some earplugs from them half a year ago.
The email wasn’t ‘From’ Chemist Direct, and it was offering me Viagara.0 -
