TWO REASONS NOT TO USE CHEMIST DIRECT

1.Ordering from Chemist Direct may expose you to spam emails:

since placing an order, I have received 2-3 spam emails, offering pharma/medical supplies every day. Luckily, I have a good spam detector, but hope I don't get these every day forever now.

2. SLOW DELIVERY

I ordered from Chemist Direct on 4 March, and on 10 March, the status of my order as "order received" is unchanged. I will go onto the Chat Help Live line on their website to see if I get anywhere.

I will not be ordering from this website again.

Don’t buy from ChemistDirect.co.uk. I ordered my order on the 1st of February 2010 and have just received it 13th March 2010. I’ve had to wait SIX WEEKS. The customer service is horrible she should be sacked instantly she couldn’t care less about you or your order and if you look on yet another forum you will read exactly the same hundreds of times over. I can hand on heart say that Chemist Direct is the worst company iv ever dealt with. I will never ever use this useless company again. If you purchase from them...best of luck and expect a lot of stress and hassles. Mr Kelly Isle of Wight. 13th March 2010.

Just wanted to BUMP this thread as I was about to make an order but decided to check here first as I had never heard of them! Thank goodness I did as obviously I am not after reading just a few posts:eek:...thanks mse for saving me some hastle:)

I contacted this company about my order using the Live Web Chat, and was told one item was out of stock. I told the assistant to cancel that item, and she confirmed that the rest of the order would be sent out within 24-48 hours. I have already waited 18 days.

If it doesn't arrive this week, I will contact them again to cancel the order. So you save a few pounds getting your items from this lot...but how much time do you waste chasing the order.

SERIOUSLY DO NOT BOTHER WITH CHEMIST DIRECT

Ive ordered from them last week and recieved my item 2 days later, good service from chemist direct for me but i hate feel unique. Terrible service from these guys. Jem

Chemist Direct seem to be improving on their despatch/delivery timing. I placed another order last Friday afternoon and it arrived yesterday (Tuesday).

Only one thing is I got an email late on Friday saying they have to adjust some quantities on some tablets I was ordering as they can only sell so many etc etc. As I was ordering different types and brands they never said which ones until my package arrived.

EDIT: And I'll just like to say their packaging is much better than Chemist Online's packaging which left me with a soggy jiffy bag from leaking burst bottles.

If you like spending pointless hours on the phone, and sending ignored
e-mails, then Chemist Direct is for you.

I waited for 3 weeks for a 'next day' delivery to arrive, in which time I was feeling much better. They're customer service is not existent, and if they do reply to your query, the answer cannot be replied upon.

Don't waste time chasing a bargain, use a reputable High St chemist. I have had great service from LLoyds chemist online for a little extra cost without the aggravation.

I've never had a bad experience with them, and I must've had at least 4 orders from them now, they've always been helpful and friendly and my order has always arrived between 1-3 days. I've had some amazing bargains too, got a dual channel TENS machine for £16, the same was on sale for £30 on amazon! Guess I must just have been lucky!

First two orders (last year) came within a few days.

Last order (last month) took weeks.

They are sh*te at customer service - answering emails seems to be too much like hard work.

When they finally apologised for their late delivery, they emailed me a discount voucher WHICH HAD ALREADY EXPIRED.

They always have the same lame excuse - we were moving warehouse. How many times a week do they move warehouse???

Hi all

After reading this thread and already ordering from chemist direct yesterday i already felt doomed.

I placed an order a little over the £40 required for the fast free delivery yesterday and after reading this thread i contacted there customer service around 2pm today to confirm my items were in stock and would be sent out today as it is supposed to be "fast delivery" the women that answered was helpful she said the items were in stock and they would try to get them out today.

as time passed and reading more of this forum i became more worried and decided to email [EMAIL="helendelaney@chemistdirect.co.uk"]helendelaney@chemistdirect.co.uk[/EMAIL] as is suggested to do so on this forum a mere 20 mins later i receive an email saying my order has been sent out and a few mins after that helen emails me back saying my order has been sent out and i should receive it shortly.

So far i cannot fault them even the website has updated to "order dispatched" altho they did take the money out of my paypal account before even dispatching.

Its now 17:24 wednesday the 5th of may 2010 ive just read my emails and registered on here and posted this i will keep you informed of how long delivery takes and if they are the correct items.
