I have entered maybe 45 in the past few weeks is that normal! is there any secrets that will increase the amount of replies or dare I say it ......Prizes? Thanks

hi, i just enter the postal ones for the prizes i wish to win, don't think there's a 'normal' amount :)

  • Just wanted to say thanks for this guide. I spent half an hour or so getting familiar with it before I stated entering competitions and it seems to have paid off so far! :)

It puts a little tick by the side of the comp so that when you look at the list of comps you can see which ones you've already entered.

Hi guys, I hope it's ok to post my question on here.
I have entered Facebook competition to win trip to Hollywood. It is run my MTV UK. I have submited my photo entry and getting my friends to vote for me daily.
The trouble is, that it does not show how many votes do the entries have. So I don't know really if I have any chance..
Is this normal way to run voting competition? It seems quite unusual to me. I tried to contact MTV UK and they just responded saying "if I'm the winner I will find out"..
    Best wins ever:
2012: Holiday to LA for 2 adults +2 kids for 4 days
    2013: £2 000 Virgin Holiday Voucher!
2014: $1000 spending money for hols
2015: 8 night holiday to Thailand

    Hi misa.blue :)

The best place to ask questions is the Discussion Thread as that gets a lot more 'foot traffic' than here on the Guide :o It is one of the threads that is stuck to the top of page 1 of the comping forum. Click here for a direct link to the current Competition Discussions Thread (part 15)

I haven't really entered many voting comps so couldn't really say one way or the other, but on the Discussions thread you will hopefully be able to find more help :)

    Happy Comping! :)
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
