Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
This week I gave a z-bed which I'd received from a freecycler last Christmas when I had too many guests and not enough beds. I've just 'won' a garden rake so I'm more than happy with that exchange.

One of the best offers I've ever seen was in todays newsletter,as follows..

OFFERED - CHICKEN POX - HUNTINGDON - FREE DISEASE

Send your kids round to play with our three year old in his play house
and get chicken pox over and done with during the holidays.

Guaranteed infection in a warm enclosed space (can be prompted to
cough without hand up on request) - taking 1 hour bookings between now
and bedtime.

Currently doing a tour of East Anglia - the virus will be at Old
Buckenham airfield for one day only and will return to
Huntingdon for the rest of its duration.

We can also do lifts in our car...

Zero to Chicken Pox Virus in 12 seconds???

Email me direct for a consultation.

Thanks
****

What a wonderful freecycler with a great sense of humour! :rotfl:
I have never had anything from recycle - I would like a working standard lamp but nothing like that is ever offered on my local freecycle.
Why don't you ask if anyone has them. I have had things tucked away and its only when people have said they would like something, that I think to myself "oh I have that, it's sat doing nowt, they might as well have it"
I have given away a full wine making kit, cd towers, 100's of kids videos, games. All because people have asked...try it..u never know, lol

I got rid of a virtually new double bed, and got a chest freezer for the school PTA (ice-cream Friday starting next year!)
