Because we live in germany, and I don't understand enough german, I have yet to give anything away on freecycle.
But am coming home in 2 weeks so just wait for a plethora of posts with loads of stuff to give away!
I have received some school dresses though. A lovely lady was giving them away as her daughter had outgrown them. They are the perfect size for my daughter (with a little growing room left) and my dad picked them up for me!LBM - August 2008 - Debts then - £33390 - 2nd LBM - November 2009 - Debts then - £18500:mad:

anyone on Southampton Freecycle?0
-
Recently recived Thomas Tank Engine bits for my almost 2 year old DD who is mad on Thomas, I gave away my cot mattress & bedding to notice the person who collected it had it back on freecycle within hours saying she was tipping it the following day unless someone wanted it. I had loads of people ask for it so was a bit upset that she did that
Hope someone did have it as it was a shame to just tip it like that. 2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please!

I know the feeling, when i list items on freecycle i always wonder if they are going to a good home or if its someone that wants to make a few £'s. I do go to local Carboot sales and you get to know who the regulars and the "dealers" are so i do try to remember there faces when they come and collect bits and bobs from me. So far the stuff i had given away as far as i know have gone to good homes. It does make me laugh with some of the requests that we have on ours, A few weeks back, someone was asking for isle of wight festival tickets That they wanted for free (and they cost about £130 + for 1 ticket). And some one asked for a NINTENDO dS hehe. :rotfl:0 -
Given - 2 full size filing cabinets
Got - a TV within hours of ours dying - thanks PaulHappy with any wins this year :A0 -
I have just given away a cooker, and have previously given away computer parts, a double buggy, and a travel cot. I have received a complete bedroom furniture set, kids books, and i cant remember what else i got lolLife is for living, don't die of boredom!!!0
