Hi guys
Been busy, busy, busy. Got two job interviews coming up, one is full-time and I'm asking myself if it's a good idea to even consider taking on full-time, but I figure I can go for the interview and take it from there. I have another next week that's part-time and tbh I much prefer that one anyway, so have been thinking about that.
Things with my OH been up and down. I won't go into details, but his friend has arranged a holiday, and I wasn't keen for various reasons, and so said my piece. However I got so sick of him going on about it, every other day there was some comment, either from him or someone he knows, such as "I knew this would happen" (by best mate), "under the thumb" (best mate's mum), and from him at every opportunity throwing in 'jokey' remarks, like if I said thanks for doing something nice, he'd say, "does that mean I can go on holiday now then?!" really lightheartedly.
In the end I said do what you want, but don't ever talk to me about this, don't mention it, either before you go or after. I've got a good mind to not speak to him the whole time he's there - I know he'll be calling and texting every day saying how he's having a nice time but "it's not the same because I'm not there" (one of the reasons I'm angry about it.) I know it's gonna be a sore point and I keep telling myself to let go of it, it's done and it's happening and I'll just be feeling bitter about it for ages which is a waste of time and energy, but I just feel so angry that what I say has no resonance with him.
That's one of my "things"... Throughout my last relationship as well, I felt like I was never listened to. I'm naturally a shy person, and have gotten over that a lot through the years, but it's still hard to make myself heard sometimes. Not for want of trying, that is - I'm very forthright with my opinions where warranted - but I have this underlying feeling that no matter what I say, people don't seem to actually take on board how strongly I feel and how important certain things are to me. Thus I end up feeling bitter, angry, thinking what more can I do to make myself heard?Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

I haven't been too well. I ended up in A&E on Saturday and then in the early hours of Sunday morning was transferred to the psych ward. I got discharged yesterday. I practically begged to be discharged. It's so horrible in there. Everyone watching your every move. I hated it. Too much structure for my liking, to be honest.
I've never had an ear infection before but I would hate to have one. They sound so painful. *hugs*

Just keep trying. If you can't manage to be cut free, try and manage it best as you can - try and limit it, only doing what is absolutely nessercary.
And please try and get more support xxStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Hi all
I didnt get to go back to work doc signed me for another couple of weeks.
Spoke to my supervisor about phased back into work, not good my illness is stress related depression due to work i have been off several months and work changes they were supposed to have been done havent ie work space and a computer each no surprises really.
when i mentioned union and occupational health would back me told that they would say am not upto my job. they also said that even tho my contract states hours and area to be worked they would probably move me to another dept, feel as tho i being blackmailed in not being allowed to try to get changes implemented that would benefit all and already agreed before i got ill.
