I have to go back into my placement tomorrow.

I'm not sure I am going to go in though.

I feel miserable at the thought of doing this again. No-one is listening to me and what I want, despite all the pre-placement talk of "if you don't like it, we can move you around" "it's all for your benefit", "we're here to support you" etc etc

I'm not getting paid, I won't lose anything for not going in as i'm doing it out of choice and I don't feel I should be feeling this bad and having panic attacks at the thought of doing the placement.

Have you seen her and can you attend to her? I hope you manage to convince her to get herself checked out.
been to see mum, and she is really badly bruised, she fell on to the bedside table, and as the table took the full weight of the fall it smashed along with the lamp that was on it, and she has few small cuts, and one quite large one. have helped her make sure they are properly cleaned, but she will not get herself checked out properly. if the cuts dont start ehaling properly then i will insist she seeks further treatment.

if the placement is making you ill, and giving you panic attacks, and not offering the support they should i wouldnt go in either.
is there another placement you could try, that would offer more support?
would be worth looking into, as doing something positive helps you to feel better about yourself

Monday is usually regarded as the worst day of the week so I thought some of you might like this

    It still amuses me

I have been reading Miroslavs posts and am truly shocked at how systems here can get it so wrong. If you are being sent on a placement to get you back to work then the counsellor should accompany you to allay fears and see that you are fitting in. Of course work is good for you but it takes time and there should be someone on hand to act like an adjudicator between the person and the job. there are some people who moan about a job or supervisor when all it is is a case of the boss wont take their !!!!!!. Other times the boss is taking the mick that is why, for a while at least, there should be someone to help him in an unbiased way. I also think he should be paid even if it is taken off benefits as it helps give a person value and self esteem
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

    Heylo everyone.

Sorry for not being around. I'd been in hospital since Saturday night, then in the early hours of Sunday morning I got transferred to the local psychiatric ward. I got discharged about an hour and a half ago.

The consultant has asked my GP to refer me to the mental health team.

Anyway, I'm feeling a bit better but still fragile. I've had Em texting me making sure I'm okay though, and Janette came and visited me and took me home. :)

    How are you all?

    xx
