Well we survived the move into our new home and have internet at last so hello again to all. In the end thanks to family and friends we had a lovely Christmas and just about got finished for a quiet Christmas Day.

Well i did get a reply from the OR about my so called early discharge. Basically it apoligised for the mistake and the OR in question and went on to say that they were hoping that i could get an early discharge in mid feb but it does not promise anything but i will right back and tell them that i would hope this could happen after the mistake made by them that could have dropped me right in it.

Well i wont be sad to see the back of 2008 it certainly have been the worst year in my life and proof BR is not easy as some say but one thing is right and that is you come out the otherside alot stronger.

  • hi k2nga

i have just been reading your diary and hey you have had some crap to deal with in 2008. it helps so many of us to read others stories. i have been sitting here feeling sorry for myself (makes it worse as its new years eve i guess). i have had the worst year of my life in 2008 and not so long ago i shed a few tears.....but hey onwards and upwards. i am going to be going through bankruptcy myself but i am looking forward to the end of a long long struggle.

good luck in 2009, you deserve it x

I hope you have a better 2009 willsandolly and Happy New Year.

Yes it has been a bad year. A year ago i could never have envisaged a year this bad but now i feel i am coming out the otherside. You learn quickly after BR to hit your way through every wall put in front of you and even though i only did the diary to tell others what happend to me at court i continued really as a diary i could look back on and use as a reference as things come up and its been really useful to me.

But the thing i am over the moon about is when people like yourself leave lovely comments and i hope it serves as hope for those who read it to prove that no matter how much you are kicked you can come back from it and hit back and come out the otherside a stronger person.

So again many thanks for your comments and Happy New Year.

Well first post on me diary in this new and i so hope its better than last year.

We had a good Christmas after moving just 5 days before Christmas Day.

Well i have let the OR now that i have moved and written a letter to the tax people as well to get them all dealt with in case they do have to send paperwork to the OR as i dont want to ruin any chance i have of an early discharge if the OR does do what they say they are hoping to do.

We have had our letters back from the benefits people re the rent and the like and what we are entitled to. It is short but right and with some budgeting and help from MSE i can make some more savings here and there and we can just afford to live till we find jobs which i sincerly hope will be soon but the jobs just dont seem to be out there but i will keep searching.

Anyway thanks to all who read my posts in 2008 and Happy New Year for 2009

Have you seen my signature........Look .......Look

Yes the day i have been waiting for a real sign my luck has finally changed i had a letter from the OR to say i was given ED on the 22nd of January.

I must admit i was really shocked even though i knew i might get it but refused to get my hopes up after last time. Such a great feeling i have had a big smile on my face all day. I just hope me luck holds up and i can now find a job.
