Well what can i say i am gutted. Having not having anything in writing about my early discharge i emailed the OR on Tuesday to ask when it had taken place and if i would be getting a letter from them about it.

Well i have not heard a thing and called the OR office my OR had left for the weekend but it turns out that after being congratulated by the OR on my early discharge it is not right and i have not received an early discharge and im not likely too by all accounts.

I have emailed and called them since to complain as it appears a number of mistakes have been made but i have had the brunt of it by the cruel way i have been lead to believe i had been discharged and was told that all the staff concerned would be in on Monday and an investigation would start.

I cant explain how low, stresses and angry i feel right now. I was so looking forward to Christmas and New Year and hoping for a new year and a new start. Im also angry as i sure that being discharged but give me the confidence to find a job and not be held back by the BR in the New Year plus i had even started to feel good about myself and my future.

I have had some kicks in the last year that i have had to deal with but this i feel was the cruelist thing that could happen.

OMG how awful for you. I can only imagine what that has done to you. Please let us know what the outcome of the investigation is. A personal apology from your OR is least you should expect,,along with an explanation of how this happened.Dx

Yeah i truly cant believe how it happened to be honest. I am more annoyed that after emailing them last week they never contacted me and said we have made a mistake just let me carry on and had i done that i would have moved and they would not have know where and if i had got a job i would have also broken another rule of my BR so where would that have left me.

I did not feel this low when i went BR. I just gave me false hope and ruined my Christmas and New Year.

I e-mailed my OR a couple of times. One took him a month to reply to,good job it was not urgent:eek:. They are soo busy but that is no excuse for what they did to you. The least they can do is to give you ED and rush it through;) .Dx

I have to admit i was wondering yesterday if they might do that just to get it out the way as i am not sure what kind of excuse they can come back with as as far as i know 3 members have staff were involved in this and i cant work out how 3 of them can make a mistake the guy i spoke to on Friday seemed shocked and a little annoyed but i wonder if when they put the phone down they just look for a way to wash over it and just say tuff.

The have a cheek in that this morning in the post the lady who i spoke to who told me that i was not ED and would not be sent me a leaflet on when you are discharged. Maybe i am touchy but i kind of feel now like she enjoyed the whole thing and thought it funny to send that.

I hope they call to talk to me about it but i am not holding my breath i am guessing a whitewash letter might arrive by the end of the week.

I would ring and ask to speak to your actual OR and ask how this happened.Dx

Oh dear You really are having a rough time of it at the moment. I can only hope that things start to get better for you soon, fingers crossed that 2009 will be a damn sight better than 2008 for you!

It's great to read this. I have a date for my bankruptcy, 12th Jan 09, am already getting sleepless nights through the stress of it all. This has put me at ease a little. Thank you.

Hi Patsypat911 and thanks for your comments too i am glad you have found the diary a help to you. When i started it i just intended to tell my story and that would be it but then i thought why not post updates to tell people what it is really like but it has also become a great reference point for me as i can look back through and see when things happened. It also shows that Bankruptcy is not an easy option but that you can get through it if you take just one step at time which i hope i have shown.

Never let them walk over you and fight for all you can get and i know one thing for sure and that is when you come out the other side you will be much stronger and be like Martin wanting consumer revenge certainly with the banks.......

Well still nothing from the OR Office re my complaint last week. I believe they get 10 days to reply but as yet nothing so i am hoping that no news is good news and that they maybe push for an ED because of the mess the caused but dont worry i am not holding my breath as its most likely as i have complained that they will go back through my file and work out a way to make my life even harder.

Its all a shame as i was looking forward to Christmas and New Year but now i just want to put it on hold until next year. I really hope the Stress, Worry and Upset would stop after BR and not that over 6 months down the line the OR would be the one to make it all a nightmare once again.

Anyway i am trying to focus on getting ready to get the keys to our new home tomorrow so we can get on with life a bit and im hoping it will make me feel better than i do just at the moment.

Im also a little worried that i have not been sleeping that well but im not sure if its the stress of last Friday or moving.
