poo cant see the pictures for some reason
.... my oopsies only take about 15mins.... mazz u can always add a spoon of almond flour or protein powder to the yolks to thicken the mix
icecream can be as easy as taking a few frozen berries, throwing on some double cream and whizzing it all up with sweetener in a blender or u can make a custard and then whip and freeze it... have some recipes somewhere i will dig them out
jim am so looking forward to hearing from u on tues u are VERY dedicated and its brilliant to see, thats exactly how i was when i first started... jim keep reading the recipes u may find u add jus one of them to your repertoire and before long we will have made a chef out of u lol
not been posting much this weekend cos i have been BEYOND naughty... tho interesting still not had bread, rice etc i just dont see them as a food anymore lol

A stone in a month ! wow, I wish you all the best with that. I only use the scales every 2 weeks, having a go daily would make me paranoid and obsessed !0

OMG that gives me hope, no matter how much you have to lose two stone is amazing and makes you look sooo different and what an incentive too keep going.
I have loads to lose too so here's hoping.:j
Will have to dig out my old diary to see my loss last time, it was great but not that as good as yours.0 -
Have dug out my diary's from 1997-98 and i lost exactly 14lbs in a month, mind you i lost 12lbs on the induction fortnight and then slowed as i increased carbs, but it seems i had cravings big time... prob made worse as i was occasionally having some sugary snacks. Have more knowledge now and had no-one to ask questions of then. Was over ten years i know but was surprised how the pounds have crept on.
I seem to have stopped LC ing then, I think home life took a bad turn and i just didn't care.
So a stone is certainly do-able for me:j :j
Had bacon and buttery scrambled eggs for brekkie.. yummy
and decided not to have gravy on my dinner (maybe next week)quite fancied the schwartz one, 1/4 of a packet.
having roast pork and lots of lc veg
Have prepared a salad for later.
I think peparation is the key.0 -
Hello all - been feeling a bit down and lacking in self-confidence, and want to give myself a kick start by losing about 1.5 stone - this has mostly accumulated through bad diet and comfort eating.
I've heard of so many successes through Atkins and wondered if you could give some easy hints and tips to get started. I understand that it's a low carb diet, but how would you recommend I get started? Should I cut out all bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, etc and stick to meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, salad and fruit? Or is that too drastic a way to start?
Thanks loads.0 -

Cut out the fruit and veg as well
Most people I think recommend choosing a specific diet and then learning about it - I use Rose Elliot, some use Atkins, and there are some others like the Idiot Proof diet... assuming you're not vegetarian I'll hand you over to their expertise!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Just had my grocery delivered and I'd ordered the vegegel. Hasn't got any nutritional info on the box  . It's main ingredient is dextrose. Don't know whether to risk it and use it without really knowing the carb count. Does anybody have any idea how much carbs I should allow for it? I'm desperate to try and make a peppermint tea jelly.0

Alm, it is on my Rose Elliot induction list, hence my assumption there wouldn't be any...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
