Think HC does a version with blue cheese so I'm thinking of trying that.
Also, before I went off the rails at the weekend, I made them with smoked cheddar & it was lush!! Think the cheese was called smoked applewood? It has a paprika dusting on the outside - totally yummy!!0 -
Have been reading posts that I missed over the last few days & I have been laughing my head off!! :rotfl: All this talk of farts, poos, poo-eating dogs & rabbits!! :rotfl: So thought I'd join in!! Lol!!
No I don't fart on low-carb either, but obviously this weekend that has changed!!:o And we have a poo-eating hamster, but I think that's normal for a hamster?
There, I don't feel left out now!!
And did someone call me a buddha?! Feel like one at the moment as had a small amount of pasta for dinner. I won't mention the 2 profiteroles & the cappucino cheesecake I had for afters.
I'm back to being good tomorrow, honest!! Cheesy leeks here I come!!:rotfl:0 -

I've read it about 4 times in the past year.
I think it says you can reintroduce it but not every day (unless you do a lot of sport/marathons)0 -
I still get heartburn, very badly but fairly rarely. It's usually when I'm stressed or if I haven't had enough dairy that day.
A desertspoonful of cream usually sorts it.0 -

Just curious....but is anyone here planning on having an Easter Egg? I'm going to get quite upset if I dont have one.....and quite upset if I do.
(I'm ill in bed yesterday and today and have had lots of time on my hands to consider extremely serious matters such as this.:rolleyes2 )
Hope you feeling better now.
PS. What was that about 5 Atkins bars?! :rotfl:

what did you use to set it badgerlady?
"Vege Gel" - it's the same packaging and location as Gelatine in the baking aisle at Tesco. Although randomly enough my sister actually sent it to me for last year's birthday and it's been in my larder ever since :rotfl:
I'd never tried it before because I remember my Mum trying to make vegetarian jelly years ago and it coming out sort of lumpy and stirrable - they must have made a lot of improvements since thenMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
I bought my ground flax in H&B last week and it says that it has 1.7g of carbs per 100g. Went to my local supermarket today as I'd ran out of it and the ground flax they were selling there had 37g of carbs per 100g. Luckily I checked because I would have bought it without thinking there would be that much difference. Why is there such a difference?0

Alm - was the supermarket ground flax an American brand by any chance? If so they won't have deducted the fibre count from the net carbs - there is a lot of fibre in flax so that would make the total appear much higher. That's all I can think of anyways.
