Lol, aliasjo! We too had a caravan, but I can't remember if it had an inside loo or not. Camber Sands, Isle of Wight and Wales, those were my childhood summer holidays.

When my girls were about three (they're 18 now), we were pretty broke and borrowed an acquaintance's caravan. OH took the girlies with him in the car to the place where you empty the chemical loo. He urged them to stand back while he emptied it . . . but they took his instructions too far and both fell in. He brought them back in the boot of his (estate) car covered from head to toe in poo. I stripped them and disposed of their clothes. Ah, those were the days! :D

Angela, that pesto sounds good, carb-wise. However, I have recently boycotted Waitrose as I'm on an economy drive. Regarding the dreaded Diet Coke - I drink the caffeine-free stuff. I don't think it tastes any different. Do you not eat vegetables, by the way?

    ETA: and Swanage!

yup that was it !!! we had to wait ages so got a free bottle of wine then we had wait some more then they ran out of some puddings so we negotiated a 25% reduction in the bill
but what we did have was very nice and the restaurant staff were lovely to us

there was 6 of us and we played a very loud raucous game of truth or truth around the table - bet they wished they never took our booking !!!

  • I bought soured cream for the first time in my life yesterday! I made sure I for the full fat one and not the "light" one-that word frightens me as it normally means carbs. It was nice-the name had always put me off before but I decided to risk it-it will be nice instead of so much mayo. Can anyone tell me if/where there is a recipe link for lo carb recipes please?
Protein powder and gyms-they are both on my wird list at the mo but Im going through a big change so one never knows.:p

  • Ah yes-I do-a little. with the steak last night I had spinach.
Not had any today yet-unless you count the sundried toms. I will do a salad in a mo-maybe scrambled eggs and blue cheese.
Im going to get some brocolli this week as I love that. Must check carbs in frozen sprouts too-I like those.
I think I will try the bluey leeks too!
