Morning, all. :hello: Hope everyone's well.

Wow, so many posts to read through! There are so many of us now - the Word is spreading and low-carb is going to take over the world!

Happy birthday, Jpretty! How are you celebrating? It's one of my doggies' birthdays today too. Extra liver for him. :D

It's my weigh-day today and, after losing nothing last week, I've lost 3 lb. I'm now officially 9st something! :j

As summer is within striking distance, I've decided to set myself a (hopefully achievable) goal. And if I post it here, publicly, I might have more chance of reaching it:
    • I'm 9 st 12 lb now
    • I want to be 9 st by the end of April, when I go to Italy for a few days
    • I shall definitely eat 'normally' while I'm away, so I'll probably come back half a stone heavier (mostly water, of course), which will take me back to 9 st 7 lb
    • I'll lose that half-stone, and another, and be 8 st 7lb in time for my holiday at the end of June
I've no idea if I can do it, but if I'm good - with not too much cheating - it's possible!

    Yesterday for me:

    B: none
L: crustless asparagus quiche (Rose Elliot), which ended up rather like a souffle and took a good deal of scrubbing to get the gratin dish clean ; salad and mayo
D: sausages, mushrooms, onions, broccoli cheese; SF jelly

I do have a Facebook account, but I deactivated it a while ago as I don't use it.

    Pancake Day soon!

Well done HC. :T 9st something.....sigh, it's been many a year since I saw 9 stone :rotfl: . However I too lost 3lbs this week, taking my total to 20lbs which I'm happy about. :D Still a long way to go though.

I haven't had a chance to read through yet, I think I have a couple of days worth of posts to catch up on, lol.

Happy burpday to Jpretty and HC's dog btw. :D

Well done, aliasojo! 20 lb is enough to really see a change in yourself - that's fantastic!

Vegetarian. Have cut out all high carb food. Not following any particular plan.Started 20/1/2009. Weight lost so far 29lbs. Target weight loss 38lb in total.
  • Good morning everyone :hello:
Start of week 5 for me & weigh day - I lost 1lb!! Haven't exercised for days so maybe could have done better but I'm pleased it went down anyway!!:D
    Menu for today:
    B - blues/rasps/4 red grapes(!) & cream
    L - egg mayo salad
D - will have to update later
Had a 'lovely' surprise this morning - youngest daughter had puked all over her carpet last night!! _pale_ Too many leftover bday sweeties yesterday methinks. Said she was too tired to get out of bed to do it in the toilet. Yeah, thanks for that.
Anyway, sorry about that whinge!! Bit tmi for this time of the day!!:rotfl:
Happy Birthday jpretty!! Have a good one!!
Well done on the 3lbs off HC!! Good idea to post your goals, think I might do that after my family party (minus the weight tho, I'm not that brave!!)
Got to go now, have some cleaning up to do._pale_

By the way, I'm only 5' 1", so 9 stone something (and it's much nearer 10 st than 9st) is not that great! Didn't want you thinking I'm 5' 8" or anything. :p
