glad u had a good break ted, scroll back and see the link i posted this mornnig about fatty liver, very interesting i thought
But it really is quite scary as to how common this is amongst those with Type 2 Diabetes and how it leads so often to CVD. But as there is so much money to be made promoting the use of insulin any diet/exercise/supplement regime aimed at reducing the use of medications for diabetes control will fall on deaf ears.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

shykins - 2 glasses of wine and 3 heaped spoonfuls of fibresure in my morning tea today is what resulted in the poo - the alcohol on a thursday night was a last resort to resolve the damn farting - honest xxx:j MFi3 wannabee :j

lol daisy, needs must i guess
i assume u take it every day? i take one spoon every morning altho the jar says 2 or 3 three times a day
xWhen you know better you do better0 -
ive been taking it everyday for about 6 weeks and it was working fine - until i had my blip over christmas ( didnt need it then.....)
but since being good and eating on plan for last 3 weeks its just not doing its thing and have been upping the does to 2 spoonfuls each morning to no avail - then all the bloating and and farting this week was horrible so drastic measures were needed:j MFi3 wannabee :j

Hi Moon Rose and welcome - have a read through the thread - there's tons of info and recipes, but be prepared - it took me about a month to read it all LOL!
Well done badgerlady, you must be so pleased - go celebrate :T
Welcome back Ted - I've missed you're informative articles that assure me what we're doing is the right thing - even tho everyone thinks I'm doing a 'fad' diet.
Daisy -congratulations on the momentous event this morningI know what you mean - been a bit bunged myself. I've had tons of peanuts over the last few days and I know thats not good:o
Didn't actually lose any weight this week, altho didn't put any on. But I know I haven't been eating so well, lots of peanuts anbd plain choc, need to behave a bit this week I think...says me while drinking rum and (diet) coke...Morgans Spiced Rum....hmmmmmm
Thats a shame about the low carb/low finances thread, was just about to start reading it cos it is proving more expensive for me. Altho managed to get 10 frozen pork joints 600g from tescos today - reduced to 75p each :T Thats should help out a bit, altho strugged to cram them in the freezer:D
OK
B - fried egg and cherry toms
L - chicken salad
D - not that hungry so celery with cream cheese and some peanuts...damn those pesky peanuts0 -
Congrats, Badger_Lady! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
Been reasonably good today:
B: none
L: bacon and hard-boiled egg saladroast beef (leftover from last night - bought huge joint half-price in Sainsbury's before Christmas), cabbage, cauli mash, French beans
and loads of water
I agree about the LC shopping thread - it's useless now it's merged in with the other one.
Daisy, you are making me laugh so much with your pooing/farting saga. :rotfl:0 -
