lunch - salad avocado olives parma ham cheese
dinner - garlicky lamb steaks with salad

snack - sausage 2 crackers and pate

will prolly have more of the lemon cheesecake stuff
normally i try and limit desserts and sweet stuff to a couple of times a week but am feeling the need for sweet stuff this week - prolly due to my period and being tired and run down - but prolly the reason why im arsing around with the 1 pound loss and gain and not getting anywhere !!!!

    Hello lovelies :hello:

Just a quickie sazzy coz v busy at work today:)

Hi and welcome yello tuesday :hello:

Aliasojo - I'm not usually home from work until 7pm at the earliest and dinner is usually between 8 and 8.30, so I tend not to get hungry after that. My problem is getting hungry late afternoon, so I try not to have my lunch before 2pm... altho I still get hungry even then lol:o

Badger Lady - good luck for today! :T

Avstar - am deffo tempted by that M&S ricer:D

Sue - nice to see you back :)

pilly - thanks, will check out those paleo links

Suspect were I was going wrong up till xmas was not eating enough fat - and reading Ted's latest Dr D's transcript has reminded me of that. So I am trying to make a conscious effort now to redress that.

    Today's meals:

b: flax bread and piece of gammon
l: salad with cold meat and cheese
d: chili (which I think I've made a bit too hot!:o:D) on a bed of shredded cabbage and leeks

Have a lovely day everyone

Oh, well I finally got my "news" - they want me back for a third, count them, third interview!!!

I'm still the only candidate in the running, it's been 2.5 months since my first interview, so the Director needs to "refresh his memory". Appointment to be booked, because the MD will also be present this time.

Has anyone ever been so abused by a recruitment process???
Hi Badger lady i bet you feel like telling them to make up there minds my sons in the same position as you he gets so far and its hurry up and wait fingers crossed :j

:D It was a joke made in reference to a typo that Rainbow Butterfly had written earlier (now corrected btw).

Well I have put a pound on. I knew as soon as I woke up this morning that the tum looked bigger and sure as eggs are eggs.....an extra pound on the scales. :(

I've just ordered a magic bullet online and I'm about to make a shopping list as I need to nip this in the bud before it goes any further.

    Have a good day girls!

I tried to be good yesterday:

    B: none
    L: bacon and eggs
D: roast beef, cauli mash, broccoli in cheese sauce, cabbage

and about 4 litres of water.

Not exactly induction (too much veg, probably) but OK. That's the hardest thing about going back on induction, even briefly - the lack of veg.

I'm going to have a look at the OS thread about low-carbing. Need to cut the shopping bills drastically!

I've got one of those hand-held gizmos that tell you your body fat % but I'm too scared to use it.
  • Good morning everyone, day 12 for me.
    Menu for today:
B - fresh rasps/blueberries with double cream - yum yum!!
L - leftover chicken with salad
    D - Chilli
[strike]Might[/strike] will sneak a couple of pork medallions in mid-morning
Pud - maybe rasps/blues with double cream again?
Snacks - salted peanuts & maybe some cubes of cheese
As it's Friday I'm going to have some red wine tonight as a treat - can't wait!!
Just wanted to say this thread is definitely keeping me going - it's great that there are people out there in the same boat as me & we are sharing our ups & downs, giving tips etc. I feel like I can definitely do this!!:D
Ps - my jeans are definitely looser, will invest in a belt next week, don't think I'm quite ready for the next size down just yet, but hopefully not too long!!
    Happy days!!:rotfl:
