i did see pork scratchings in poundland a couple of times beware tho some of them have sugar in!!! really they do mad isnt it

the reason why i was saying pick a plan is because if we get asked can i have that the answer would differ if u were doing atkins or Dr d so it would be hard to answer if we didnt know

needmoney check out the ivillage atkins and lowcarb site theres LOADS on there .. lol i know cos i put it there or just do a google and u will find recipes etc linda sue has lots on her site

as far as the NEW atkins is concerned well its pretty much the same as 1972 original only difference is that included the bit about eating atkins products,. i am sure this is nothing to do with them wanting to sell them <whistle> call me cynical but they had to change something to make it 'new'!!

avstar i use the extra thick cream as its lowest in carbs, cream cheese is philadelphia but tesco etc do their own brand and its much cheaper, go for full fat tho for less carbs

made these but think i did something wrong as they were very delicate and although i have a very good non stick pan i couldnt turn them over without breaking them

    any ideas pls ?
Hmm, I'm not sure where you went wrong. I'm definately no cook but after my first batch (when I broke them al too:rolleyes: ) they have been great. It took a bit of practice to turn them as they do tend to break until both sides are cooked. Also, I found less oil/butter to fry them in actually worked better and made it easier to turn them. They won't be as strong as the proper tortilla/fajita wraps but still stong enough to do the job.:D Also, did you use a blender to mix the ingredients so that it ended up being a thick milk/single cream consistency?

You can't just add 1p, you have to actually buy something.;)
There was a website called something like amazon fillers?? Try to google it nd it then lists really cheapstuff (like 50p colouring books etc) on amazon to help take you over the thresh hold so you don't have to pay for P&P.

Also, if you can't find anything cheap, it might work out cheaper to order IPD from play.com. The books on there start at £5.49;)

Thanks for the info shykins, will check it out later.

I'm a cheapskate tried all the charities for a copy of Atkins - none. One manager said Oh I throw those out as nobody buys them. I told her they were having a revival, now she'll probably save them and raise the price :D
Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)
