I would rather drown with you than watch the surf with someone else0 -
Shykins, I don't blame you at all for being furious at the stupid vicar. I would have been too. In fact, my girls are 18 next week and they still believe. (They'd better, otherwise he won't leave them a stocking.

:rotfl: @Gillette
doesn't anyone else find it ironic that a vicar is belittling belief in santa?? it's not like his own beliefs have any foundation in reality!!!!! :rotfl:
my mum still makes me a stocking and I'm 270 -

Very good point, Tink! Which is worse - to believe in the sky fairy, or lovely, smiley, chubby Santa. At least Santa leaves presents0 -

Sorry to but in in the middle of a serious debate about santa and the vicar but I am in need of a serious gloat
For those of you with a weak stomach please look away now or have a bowl at the ready
Hubby bought me some new jeans yesterday they were size 14 and they are too big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That means I must nearly be ready for a size 12!!!!!! Wow I cant believe it and I caught sight of my reflection in a shop window today and I looked pretty damned good wooooohoooooooo:T :j
Right gloat over its now safe to read:rotfl:
As for the vicar I'd be tempted to write to the bishop about his actions and see if I could get him repremanded

Awww Shykins, that doesn't sound fun!
I've had a bit of much-need stability today - my insurance company gave a decent value on my car (£200 less than I paid 3 months ago, but it'll do), and my line manager came back from sick leave and is completely supporting me on the work front
I really haven't been "dieting" since all this started, so I'm very surprised to notice that I've continued losing weight (particularly since I generally put it on when stressed!). I reckon a little fast before Christmas and I'll be target shape to see the family
Looking back, even though I haven't really avoided carbs, they just haven't featured very much. I'm still eating my homemade fresh eggs and I've just had a lovely Chinese meal of beancurd and vegetables with seaweed... if I do eat bread it just fills me up straight away and I don't eat again for ages.
Ravy, that's the best feeling, isn't it? I keep looking at myself in all the windows at work... our meeting rooms have got glass walls so this morning I got some very funny looks from people in suits who thought I was staring in at them! :rotfl:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
