ravy well done on the weightloss.. its funny how we want to eat something all the time for a while then all of a sudden u dont want it i go thru phases of that
well for dinner tonight i have done gaellic chicken... cold cooked chicken, broccoli (i am using broccoli/cauli mix), campbells condensed soup mixed with half as much mayo and poured over... approx 45 mins in oven... used to put grated cheese and breadcrumbs over for last 15 but not doing that now of course

Sazzy I'm loving the sound of the burgers and I'd be sorely tempted with the cheese on top
Shykins the chicken sounds great I will have to give that a go as I have some cooked chicken in the freezer and hubby is on lates for the rest of the week so just me to cook for.I dont feed the kids low carb
Hubby has started commenting on how good I am looking these days as I'm now in a size14.I'm still continuing with low carbing but will have the odd treat now.Nothing too drastic as I want to keep things on an even keel till Christmas and then I'll be back low carbing afterwards.

Beware the dreaded Wheat Deficiency Syndrome.
Like any other syndrome, you can recognize this condition by its many tell-tale signs:
--Flat abdomen
--Rapid weight loss
--High energy
--Less mood swings
--Better sleep
--Diminished appetite
--Reduced blood sugar
--Reduced blood pressure
--Reduced small LDL and total LDL
--Increased HDL
--Reduced triglycerides
--Reduced C-reactive protein and other inflammatory measures
Of course, you could choose to cure yourself of this syndrome simply by taking the antidote: foods made with wheat flour, like bread, breakfast cereals, pastas, pretzels, crackers, and muffins.
All the signs of the syndrome will then disappear and you can have back your protuberant abdomen, irrational mood swings, exagerrated appetite, higher blood sugar, etc.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Ok this is bad, so I'll just say it how it is. Last night we had pizza. And garlic bread. And I don't mean 'cauli' pizza either!:o :rotfl:
It was my fault entirely. We have been on strict Atkins for ages and not getting very far, to the point where I started obssessing continually about the food I can't have. And then yesterday I thought, "How ridiculous is this, obsessing about food." So I decided get it out of my system last night. And poor gilly got inveigled into my evil plans.
It was getting to feel a bit like a slog - we were couting carbs, we'd cut out dairy... and as I've said before, it most definitely was feeling like a diet. So that's what happened. Actually, in all honesty, the very best bit was getting home last night after a knackering, stressful day at work and not having to cook! But it is what it is and I'm not not proud of it.
However comma. Tuna and green bean salad for lunch today. And - stop me if this sounds in anyway familiar - M&S steak burgers and mushrooms for dinner tonight LOL:D
Hope everyone's doing ok. Much love to all and have a good day  It's friday tomorrow! :j And the following week Gilly and me have a 4-day weekend! Woo-hoo!:j :j

made chicken curry last night with spinach and mushrooms as a side dish..even hubby loved it. Just did some micro rice for the kids to have with theirs. yum!Credit Card debt £10247.17 1/1/20200 -
Sazzy I couldnt agree with you more because I too found myself becoming obsessed with what I was eating and the carb content of everything. In fact I even got to the stage of eating less and less and getting more and more disheartened as the weight continued not to budge.I eventually came to the conclusion that I needed to ease up and if the weight dropped off then it was a bonus.I now have the odd little nibble of a cake or pie that the kids are having for pud or if I'm making something new I'll have a little taste just to find out what it tastes like because it has to be the most frustrating thing in the world to spend ages cooking a meal for the family and not being able to sample it even the smallest amount to taste if the seasoning is correct and most importantly does it taste nice.Cos if your kids turn your nose up at a meal and you havent tasted it you dont know if its turned out wrong or whether the little devils are just playing up:mad: So now I dont feel guilty with food tasting
As for the choccy tart if you've already indulged in pizza and garlic bread not having a decent pud would be downright rude:rotfl:
