There's a lot of it about sue - peeps in my office dropping like flies - hope you feel better soon xx Much as I love mushy peas and toast (or at least, used to, pre diet lol) - I'm not sure I'd like them together:D

OK, I've officially gone off the rails. I think I've got bored of this one now, and need something to kick-start me again :( My weight (or at least size) hasn't shifted in weeks, and I'm too miserable to care right now...

In the meantime, I'm cooking some sweet potato chips with goat's cheese. Sorry!

I've been really good this week and have dropped 4 lb, taking my total loss to one and a half stone. I'm still a tub of lard, but now I'm a much smaller one. :j

I'm waiting for the stall/plateau/feeling of 'sod this for a game of soldiers, I'm having chocolate bread and butter pudding right NOW', one or other of which seems to come to everybody sooner or later. I'm hoping it's later as I'd like to lose a little more before Christmas.

Badger Lady, at least you've cheated with sweet potatoes and not sweets or chocolate or cake. You've fallen off the wagon, but sweet potatoes are vegetables, with good things in them. And you can climb right back on again today. (That sounds a lovely combination, though - sweet potatoes and goat's cheese - mmmmm! Was it yummy?)

Mushy peas - euurgh! My OH likes them, but then he's a northerner (they can't help these things :D).

yay i've lost two and a half pounds on my first week:j

i took tinks advice and bought a book but failed to read it from cover to cover as at page 152 it went back to page 1 instead of page 153...sheesh

anyways i'm quite pleased with my two and a half pounds. it's not as much as some but there was the yorkshire pud on sunday and the pack of revels at the cinema and..i'll shut up now i guess!

anyways i am now totally devoted to the low carb way of life and hope to have lost half a stone before my birthday in another two weeks.

thank you all for your support and help and guidance.:T
