just had a thought, (best to check this with ted) but there are crackers you can get called scanbran, they are scandanavian and can usually be bought in health shops like H&B

they are low in carbs approx 3g per cracker and are a bit like ryvitas but a bit smaller, great for putting pate or cheese on with tons of butter of course lol

somewhere i have a recipe for crackers, shout if anyone wants to see it i will post .. but do look out for the scanbran ones if not

Shykins thank goodness your staying we need your input. I havent told anyone at work about this new woe but they have noticed I'm I'm eating different. There are some supportive people there but some tyresome folk love it when people blow it. Does any one know some good put downs for these moments, unfortunately swear words are not allowed. I usually say "that looks lovely but pastry/sweets bring me out in fat"

i tend to say atkins isnt how its portrayed in the press and i cannot see why u would think that eating fresh protein, veggies and salad can POSSIBLY be unhealthy

sides in the end they will look at u and HAVE to belive it

Ta for that - There is a lad there who is diabetic but they would'nt dream of dictating how he eat's. I have asked one woman in particular not to comment on my large bust anymore and she has the largest nose I have ever seen!

in the states a lot of people have been put onto lowcarb when they are diabetic as it seems to help.. my friend was pre-diabetic and went lowcarb, over here it doesnt seem to have caught on yet

damn cheek commenting on yr busy with a huge nose, why the hell do people feel they need to make comments about other people or how they eat (ok i admit i do to myself but not to them its their choice after all)

    Good morning everyone:)

Must look out for the scanbran, shykins, but I would be interested in the cracker recipe if you have it to hand:) Especially since I was so pleased with the flax bread recipe I tried at the weekend!

Not feeling like cooking tonight, so think I'll have some salad and open a can of wild pink salmon... getting me Omega 3 in, eh Ted?;):D

    Have a good day guys,

    Sazzy xx

I had a cheese omelette for breakfast and have been snacking on slices of smoked cheese and some gherkins.

There is salad in the fridge and I am defrosting a couple of lamb chops which I might have tonight with cabbage and onion.

Going to have a cup of coffee with cream and a vitamin D3 tablet for luck!

The local market is on so might go down there later for jumbo eggs and some fruit and veg - if it ever stops raining.

    Hey everyone!

Glad to see we are all here

I've just had the meat wagon aka Tesco delivery

My fridge is full of protein, veg and salad stuff.. I've got some lovely cherries that I'm going to have with some cream for dessert tonight. :)

How do you make cheesecake then? You have to tell me! :p

I'm supposed to be going for lunch with the mother-in-law, so I will probably opt for a salmon salad or similar.. :) What dessert could I have if she wants one? She might say she doesn't, but they have some lovely cakes and that there.. If they have just strawberries and cream that would be ok. :) Otherwise I will get a cake as the filling is mostly cream  and i'll try to eat the cream as opposed to the cake...

Just had a lovely breakfast of bacon, eggs and mushrooms.. :) mmmm.. was very nice :)
