I've mentioned Fructose and it's impact on obesity several times before.
But as it really is a very important issue here is another article with a researcher explaining the role of fructose, it's impact on leptin and the way raised insulin levels cause not only insulin resistance but also leptin resistance. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

evening allthere are going to be a lot of people feeling the squeeze over the next year. Difficult times ahead for all of us.
yes i know this is true and we are very lucky that we have no debt and hub has a very well paid job - but its all quite relative really isnt it ?
we run out of money at the end of the month like everyone else and his bonus was our ''fun'' money but also paid a lump sum off our mortgage each year
anyway......enough of that depressing stuff
brekkie - bacon and scrambled egg - acttually that was brunch again
snacked on home made chicken and veg soup
dinner has been roast chicken and fresh veg again
have just eaten a quarter of the scrummy choccie cake and cream that was posted on here
have had about 6 mugs of tea also:j MFi3 wannabee :j
mortgage owing 04.07 £36,000

Afternoon Everyone
Hubby loves the oopsies and in fact I've made a batch of them this morning for him to take in his lunchbox filled with peanut butter.I make mine in the Remoska rather than the oven as its quite a palaver to warm the oven up for a few oopsies
Met my brother in town today and the first words out of his mouth were to tell me I'd lost weight:D Thats me in a good mood for the day:rotfl:
Sazzy you've gone quiet you missing Gilly?

Hi Lesley hun :hello:
Yes, I am missing him tbh:o but he called me last night so that made me feel a bit better. How daft am I eh?! Was a bit down about having to go back to work yesterday also, after a long weekend off... but gotta pay the bills somehow I guess.
The only upside to him being away is that I'm on course to lose another pound this week lol so must be coz I'm eating less on my own!:D
That's great about your brother commenting hun - it's always such a boost when other people notice, I think.
I really must get round to trying making those oopsies. Now that the building chaos has subsided and things are a bit more settled, I should give them a go. Only thing is during the week I get so knackered from work, and often get home quite late. Then at the weekend I have to try and do all the things I don't get time to do during the week:rolleyes: Ho hum why didn't I win that big jackpot on friday? lol.
You've made me fancy some peanut butter now! What's the lowest carb one you've found?
Hope you're doing ok and thanks for the shout out
And hi and much love to everyone:D
