You could also have a go at Chai - that's my new favourite for relaxing
Place the following in a pan of cold water:
Cinnamon stick
Cardamon pods
Sliced ginger root
Cloves
Bring water to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add a couple of Rooibos teabags, cover and remove from heat. After another 5 minutes, add soya milk, agave nectar (or Splenda) and a little cream if you fancy and place back on low heat until hot.

Daily Mirror Low Carb diet Well actually it leads to Tesco Diets but it's good to see that Low carb is finding national approval and the sample menus may encourage others to see this is a very satisfying way to eat and can easily be maintained over the long term rather than being just a temporary quick fix solution. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

In post #1110 I pointed to the research showing high fructose corn syrup and fructose were actually more effective in raising insulin and causing fat storage than sugar.
Here Dr Davis explains more about What's worse than sugar?

Day 1 for me today. According to Food Focus I've had 2g of carbs.
But I have had a can of Diet Coke.I think that's the hardest thing to give up!
Still, it's better than my usual 8 cans, I suppose.

When I did it before I don't think I counted carbs at all (can't remember) - but from what I've read here, I thought 20g was a maximum. I was a bit surprised myself that it was so low, but I think I put it all into Food Focus correctly.
I've had 2 scrambled eggs with dash of cream and a knob of butter; 2 bacon rashers; matchbox-sized lump of Cheddar; large steak burger with Roquefort on the top; green salad; Caesar dressing.
And 2L of water.
I know, I know - the DC is terrible0 -
