Sounds like a plan

I've felt quite bloated for few days. I haven't been drinking my 2lr water and I've eaten less. That's to blame.
I am a pound heavier but it feels like alot more.
I've been hungry since lunch but have consistently turned down biscuits all afternoon.

went in Iceland and got a lovely meal , just need to pop in the microwave...
its 2 roast chicken breasts in a creamy garlic and mushroom sauce , topped with cheddar cheese.
only 3g carb per 100g.
Ingredients are all protiens and no sugar , so can serve with veg :j .Kindness costs nothing0 -
just to clarify the carb counts u use, its only in america that u deduct fibre frmo the carb count to get net carbs, in england the actual count on the packet IS net carbs and thats what u count NOT the sugar one, hope thats made it clear
sorry not got more time to answer everyone else. hope u allhave a good weekend, were off to legoland tomorrow and then silverstone (courtesy of MSE)

As I recall it, the idea was that you broke your three larger daily meals into 6 smaller meals which you ate no longer than 3 hours apart. The main aim of this was to ensure you ate starchy foods little and often, thus avoiding swings in blood sugar, which in turn apparently causes swings in progesterone levels (the hormone responsible for most PMS symptoms).
they go on to suggest a higher intake of complex carbs may be helpful.
However as Obesity is a modifiable risk factor for premenstrual syndrome. it makes sense to restrict those starchy complex carbohydrates that raise insulin and increase fat accumulation. It would be interesting to do a study on whether low carbing does actually reduce PMS. As Menstrual cycle symptoms are associated with changes in low-grade inflammation
As excessive energy intake and adiposity cause systemic inflammation this will add to the problem while eating fewer calories (a usual result of low carbing) and reducing weight (another usual effect from lower carb intake) will exert a potent anti-inflammatory effect so logically we should be able to confirm this.My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Hello - I'd really like to join you! I've been hovering for a while but nervous about posting because, as a very strict veggie, I'm worried about being shot down
(I know Ted for one won't approve of my eating more soya on the low-carb diet).
Anyway, I've been doing this for a while too, to re-start my weightloss after a bit of a plateau, and it seems to be going very well indeed. I haven't weighed myself since February, but I have lost two dress sizes and regularly get comments from people about how I "just keep on losing so much weight".
In February, I weighed in at 13st7 and size 16. At a guess (purely guess), I'd say I'm now around 11st and size 12.
Of course, I've spent my whole life avoiding meat, fish, eggs and cow's milk, so I have had to be a little more creative than usual! But it's been so much fun I'm actually 2/3rds through writing my own veggie lo-carb recipe book, which I'll post on here when it's finished along with some "before and after" photos.

Ted if its of any interest I've found that Low Carbing has a very beneficial effect on my PMS so much so that last month I didnt get any! Hubby was best pleased as usually I am chewing him a new backside everytime he comes near me for the week before my monthly is due
I think some of you ladies knock spots off me for analysing the minute details of the diet and applying them. For me a basic knowledge of how and why the diet works and a knowledge of how and what to eat does for me
