You're right, and that's my problem :o Thanks for reminding me :p

I'm just worried that I am eating things that others arn't allowed and so I won't lose the weight..

    Time will tell

    - indeed it will:) xx don't forget i'm doing same plan as you and i've started to lose weight:) And Ted has lost loads. I'm sure in the grand scheme of things a few variations between plans doesn't make a huge amount of difference in the long run... let's see how we go:)

    Thanks everyone!

I guess I just want to drop 2 stone overnight.. Not gonna happen is it..

I usually weight myself most mornings, but i'm going to not weigh myself until every monday morning.

I usually go for a long hike on a sunday, so I think monday will be a good day. It will take a lot of self control though as I do like jumping on the scales every day, but it's not healthy to do that and (as you can see) I get disheartened very easily..

I really don't understand why people give this advice. First thing I do every morning after I've had a pee (or my equivalent) is to step on the scales. Mine have a memory so I can see what I was yesterday and compare that with today's reading. If you make a note of it then you can see the regular consistent daily amount getting less and less each day and it really is quite encouraging. Well at least I found it so.

My scales (best quality Lidl's about £10ish) measure down to a decimal point of a lb so you can have a good idea of whether or not you are moving in the right direction.

Even though I'm not trying to lose any more weight it's still interesting to see how adding in various different foods impacts on current weight if you only weighed every week you would find it harder to identify the culprit that caused the extra LBs.

Of course I don't have the monthly hormonal changes to contend with but even so by noting down your daily weight first thing in the morning should make it easier to plot the trends.

organic free range eggs (at almost £4 a dozen)..
When we have some to spare we struggle to get 60p a half dozen selling them at the gate.
I never stopped eating carrots so I didn't have to suffer and it does not seem to have made any difference.

we used to buy them for £1/20 a dozen but they have gone up over last couple months to £1.80... hard to get hold of them but luckily we have a big farm near us that sells them for similar price

dont like carrots so no hardship for me to go without lol

i think with women ted its about the hormones and the variations on a daily basis, i guess women are more sensitive about their weight then a lot of men, hence the advice

Hey everyone! Hope we have all had lovely delicious dinners?

This is what I had, please let me know what you think.

    1 X Chicken breast

Marinade: Double cream, olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, piri pirri peppers (just for flavour, didn't eat), 5 cashew nuts sprinkled ontop.

Oven cooked that all together, was so delicious! Almost too nice, so i'm worried it was naughty?!

With that I had 2 brocolli stems, 2 cauliflower, 2 spoons homemade coleslaw.

Was so yummy! OH had it aswell but with some potato croquets.. and was very pleased with it :)

not many smalholdings in london to buy them from :(

i think the advice about not getting obsessive about weighing yourself is because women tend to be quite emotional about their weight, and it changes through the day/week/month for everyone (depending on lots of things. I weigh more when it's warm, for example).

For the average female, weighing is a big deal. If you go up one day, you're more likely to be emotional about it than a man, and potentially comfort eat or scrap the diet for the day to comfort themselves.
