Just had the despatch email this morning, might have the charger with them now if they have corrected it.
Mind you looking at the reviews here it looks like £14.99 is a rip off for this phone!

To unlock the Motorola V220 you will need an unlocking clip of some kind. The current price on a 'universal clip' (which will unlock most phones) is in the region of £175 +VAT. They are standalone and don't need a PC to use them.
I don't think you can unlock with a normal data cable, but I may be wrong on that one. If you can, you will probably need additional software that I don't know about.0 -
I don't know anything about unlocking but some posted this link abit back.Might be of some use to you techno's.:D

My husband had a look at the threads on unlocking the phone but said it didn't work. The good news for us though is that my son is with Tesco Mobile and his sim card works as they are part of 02.
Quite tempted to stay with 02 though (unless the call charges are very expensive) as I like the sound of the free texts.0 -
Apparently you can unlock with the software mentioned earlier, but it is rather complicated, or can be. When you go into flash mode (have the phone switched off, then press * and # and the power button all together) it will tell you what software version you have - it is easy to unlock if you have a number starting with R364 or below - anything higher and it gets complicated.
With the lower software numbers, you download the software mentioned in one of the two threads from afterdawn or the nokia forums, plug your phone in using a mini-usb cable (doesn't have to be oem AFAIK - mine worked with a pda cable and someone else mentioned it worked with a digital camera cable) and then switch on the phone if it isn't already on, when the computer recognises new hardware, point it to the drivers downloaded. Once that has happened, switch the phone off, put it into the flash mode and run the unlocker software (which has a few rude words in it, but works). It should then, once you've gone through that, say it has been unlocked and switch your phone off automatically. You can then use your phone on any network. In my case, I wanted to keep my old sim card with vodaphone - primarily for the number.
Unfortunately, mine doesn't work like that, as it has a higher software number, so things start getting complicated - apparently the only way to do it with the software downloaded is to downgrade the phone software, then run the unlocker, then upgrade the phone software again. Sounds complicated and I don't want to muck it up, so I'm going to research it a bit more first.

O2 really need to sort out the email system. Today I have received a dispatch email....for my order that arrived yesterday.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -
I haven't had mine yet - ordered it on the 12th and paid £3.99 for next day delivery!! Really annoyed now because I emailed DHL and 02 and had a response from DHL saying it is at Leeds sorting office, no apology or anything!! Then this morning I had an email from 02 saying my order has been despatched, again no apology!!
Not happy as other people used free postage and already have theirs - I want my £3.99 back!!!! :mad:0 -
I advised him I was very happy with the phone as far as I could tell, but would like the rest of the order to be delivered (instructions & charger) to ensure the phone actually works
At the bottom of the little box that my phone came in there is a slip of paper saying that 02 are no longer including paper User Guides with all used handsets, followed by a list of phone manufacturers' websites.0 -
Tomthumb, that is disgusting. I ordered mine and selected standard delivery which was free. I received my phone the day after - pre noon.0
