Spoke to O2 about an hour ago - they told me they don't have any battery chargers.
If I'm not happy with the product I should return it for a refund.
Sound like typical BS from O2 CS.
For those of you who are thinking about using a non-motorola charger (e.g. from Mr T.) take a look at page 15 of the instruction book, something else that appears to be missing from the delivery :rolleyes:Always use original Motorola batteries and battery chargers. The warranty does not cover damage caused by using non-Motorola batteries and/or battery chargers.
You can download the instruction book here:

Also isn't it a legal requirement to include instructions for electronic/electrical devices?0 -
Hey, so are the people who bought this phone not going to be getting chargers?
I wanna try out the phone so i'm going to buy a charger from phones4u tomorrow, £4.99

Chargers are about £4-5 on ebay inc delivery0 -

Inside the box that the phone came in (yay - got mine - no charger, but keeping my fingers crossed, and the data cable that came with my 75% off argos pda works with the phone too!) there was a small leaflet that said they no longer provided paper user guides for used handsets and gave websites where you could download them. It also included a brief startup guide on the back.
I haven't worked out how to unlock it yet though - I've got most of the way through, but apparently some flash software or something needs "downgrading" first and then "upgrading". Sounds a bit scary to me. :eek:0 -

If I join on Christmas Day will I still get the 3 months?
It all looks very good value for £10 doesn't it? They could have 3 months each of using the phones a lot and then they can settle down and use them when they need to.Eligible customers who OPT IN to an eligible Bolt On during the Promotional Period will receive their chosen Bolt On for free for 3 months from the day they are sent a confirmation text from O20 -

Called straight back to be told they close at 8 o'clock and that I should call again :mad:malc1603 wrote:Also isn't it a legal requirement to include instructions for electronic/electrical devices?
I asked the CS guy if the phone was covered by a 1 year warranty - he confirmed it was.
I asked him if it would still be covered if I use the phone in a manner that is against the manufacturers instructions, since at the momment I do not know what they are.
He then just reiterated "If you are not happy with the phone, return it within 14 days for a full refund"
I advised him I was very happy with the phone as far as I could tell, but would like the rest of the order to be delivered (instructions & charger) to ensure the phone actually works "Now to trolling as a concept. .... I've never understood why some stuff on eBay costs more than retail prices, which is why I don't look there much0 -

You know everyone says about unlocking phones and say that they wouldn't buy one if they couldn't unlock it, what is the reason for unlocking a phone? Are the 02 charges that bad that no one uses them and people have to unlock them to go with a different company? I would like to know just in case I'm missing outAll credit cards paid off.
