Well done suggs and kymrob on your huge losss.

I didn't weigh in on Wednesday as I went away for a few days rest. I am pleased to say that I STS. I ate exactly what everyone else ate, so I am pleased. I am back on steroids too which seem to guarantee weight gain so I am carefully watching what I am eating.

Hi Tagz, I've had a bout of vertigo and labyrinthitis and have just begun the Cawthorne Cooksey exercises only started them yesterday and so far so good, walked round town and even managed WHsmiths lighting, have only taken one tablet today as well:D

We still haven't found the cause of my dizziness, it isn't as severe as it was but I was very interested in the Cawthorne Cooksey exercises you mentioned. Did you have a doctor recommend them to you? I fell again a couple of days ago and my wrists and elbows are so painful. I slipped but without the vertigo I reckon I could have stayed on my feet.

The exercises were given to me by a specialist after they found out that I had labyrithitis. I found the VEDA website handy as up until my diagnosis I felt like my GP wasn't really listening to me and that he didn't believe me. Has your GP referred you to a Neurologist? Hope this helps.

Wow it's been quiet in here again today!

Kymrob well done on the loss.

Tagz I have no idea how mine came on though they are saying it's probably a viral infection, all I know is I woke up at 2.45am the other morning with teh world spinning and when I stood up I fell over and need to throw up:sad:

Had a bit of a dodgy episode again this afternoon, I notice that the lights in supermarkets make me feel much worse and i get some strange looks wandering round with my sunglasses on when it's a bit gloomy outside.

Poohbear are you receiving any treatment at all? I thought I could do without the stemetil today but as soon as i felt slightly dodgy earlier I took one immediately and intend to take another before bed.

Reminded me of the time when I had just dropped off my son to school and was walking home. I couldn't walk in a straight line so I kept veering off to the right. A woman passed me with her daughter and said in a loud voice 'stay away from her darling the lady has had a bit too much to drink'. I laughed and cried at the same time!:rotfl:

well done kymrob! thats brilliant as always.

Hey everyone, how are we all today? Everyone talking about being dizzy has made me feel all dizzy! :p

Not much to report on, life is fun fun fun at the moment. My friend at work got engaged on holiday, her fiance proposed on a boat under the moonlight!

Cant believe im approaching 22! Its getting to the unnaceptable age of youth.

right im off to do bum all again. Might do a bit of dissertation stuff but sundays are meant to be free of nothing so probably not.

    cIAOO!
