Hi all
Well, the weather has been very kind to us this weekend, despite the gloomy predictions by the weather forecasters - I always take what they say with a pinch of salt anyway!
OH and I have been busy sprucing up the garden, and it's looking bloomin' lovely at the moment! His 'eating' section is coming on well - we're going to have plenty of fresh peas and beans later in the week, and there'll be tomatoes and beetroot ready anytime soon too.
The sale of the Harley is currently running on ebay, and we had an interested person came to view it this morning, so fingers crossed. We still haven't decided where to go on holiday - but we've got lots of ideas (all we have to do is agree on one of them!).
The return to SW is going well too - OH is doing it too and we were so strong willed yesterday, we were in Ikea and stopped for a coffee in the cafe but managed to resist having a Dime cake with it.
Hope everyone else had a good weekend too - have a good week!

you went to ikea on saturday? Lois, thats crazy! hope it wasn't too scary. I'm back from the wars, had a fab time, weather held out everything was ace, altohugh did miss oh - he wasn't there. Had my visit from Environmental Health on friday -went very well, and i can do parties! So I'll be working hard this week getting flyers and stuff designed. Sorry to hear about various peoples being under the weather - I hope you are all feeling better soon, and that includes you pet! How is Alphonse these days?

Hi all! I'm home
Sorry that it's been a difficult time for some of you guys while I've been away... hope things improve asap
Lots of positive things going on too so that's great
So straight back on topic and my very much expected gain is 6.25lbs for the 3 weeks - slightly over 2lb per week which seems fairI would say most of this was down to extra snacks and treats. I didn't limit myself foodwise in any way, did do bits of exercise when I could though!
Back on track as from today and I hope to lose 2lb fairly quickly to take me back to a BMI of 21... then I'd like to even out at my 'sporty' BMI of 20-20.5 but that doesn't matter if it takes a while longerMy operation is in 2 weeks time so I don't intend to push myself until after I've recovered from that.
Good luck everyone this week!0 -

We went fairly early, before it got too crazy, but still needed coffee!I'm back from the wars, had a fab time, weather held out everything was ace, although did miss oh - he wasn't there.
That's real role reversal - shouldn't it be the damsel waiting for her knight to return from the wars?Had my visit from Environmental Health on friday -went very well, and i can do parties! So I'll be working hard this week getting flyers and stuff designed.
That's great news, well done. Is your long term plan to make the doorstep deli your full time job?

i have a question for all, i knwo it may sound very dumb lol but...
can you lose weight from chewing, chewing gum?????????? hehe0 -
Welcome home missy:j . Just in times for Cav's big race tomorrow:D .
6lbs over 3 weeks is very good. Glad you relaxed (as you said you would) and enjoyed your grub.
Raph - great news on being loved up. Enjoy :smileyhea . Some good losses rolling in. I'm waddling slightly after big wedding meal on Saturday. Extremely yumcious. Need to be vigulant this week to ensure I lose a couple of lbs.
I'm in the middle of making my first ever loaf of bread and watching it rise before my very eye. Absolute magic. Just call me Laura Ingles:D .HM sweet potato & split pea soup for lunch with fresh bread (1 slice only, will then heroically freeze the rest in slices).
Feel like curling up for a doze, but would also like to go blackberrying.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
bbelle, what a lovely day! hope you are enjoying it. D2, i have heard about this thing - the theory is that it stimulates your digestve system and fools you into thinking you've eaten - hence it's an appetite suppressant. I don't know if it works though. lol lois, oh was off fighting ww2, whilst i was watching our king fall on the field - rip RichardIII. And yes, one day doorstep deli will be my fulltime job! Been looking at what i need to buy to start the parties and it's quite pricey, but i suppose it will be worth it in the long run.
welcome back missy!0
