Morning All
Lainie, sorry the hear the problems of last night, I know the feeling from an experience eariler in the year. Glad he is safe if a little battered and bruised.
All day company half year meeting yesterday, back in biscuit city again, my own fault. Off to the coast tomorrow with 4 teenagers and MrsS for a lovely week from hellIt cant be as bad as Ibizia last year? Can it?
Anyways to matters of my weight, This week I am lost 1.2lb, Im very happy with that. With regards to my other numbers, as my body fat seems to alternate this week it did just that.
Body Fat UP from 22.7% to 23.4%
Muscle Mass Down 1.8lb from 73.49% to 73.08%
BMI 31.76%
Total Weight Lost 43.9%
So yes there was a big gain last week, but thankfully it looks like most of that gain looks like some muscleAlso it seems that I am in the zone with regards to the weight, Im settling around the !5st10lb mark, which I am happy with, sould be nice to get the body fat down nearer 20% but that will come in time. As I said off to the coast tomorrow for a week, I will try relax, after all thats what holidays are for
Have a great weekend all

Hi Lainie - hope you are feeling better this am - and of course DS!!
We are going to see Mamma Mia tonight as a group of 6 girls ('girls' being a loose term as my 75 year old Mum has invited herself!! lol), it's great when we all get out together and we are going out for a meal afterwards - healthy choices for me.
All this talk of age.... I am 47 on Monday and feel mentally the same as when I was in my 20s/30s!!!
I remember thinking that 23 was over the hill when I was younger, and now I know that it is a very long plateau on the top of that hill and it's up to you whether you fall of the other side!!!!
Still hanging on by my finger tips thank you..... and if my Mum is anything to go by will still be there in a fair few years.
We are looking forward to a girls (again - very loose term!!!) weekend to Belfast in October and said Mum is included!!!
Going off to practice Abba songs ( not that I need to as I know every word and every sigh!!)......

Hi All
Well didnt get much sleep as i kept thinking what if (why do we do that to ourselves) there was also a thunder storm through the night and the rain lashed down. My ds is fine apart from a little shaken he said he ran away because the car turned and was coming back and he thought the driver was gonna be angry with him a few years back he scraped the paintwork of a static car whislt riding his bike and the owner went mental , after explaining to him why he shouldnt have done that which he seems to have understood (i hope) i have now put into rest in my mind in the never to repeat again box. Thankyou to you all for your kind words and concern.
Last night as i said i went over my weightwatchers points by 33 there is no-way i can get them back so i have decided to forget it and start afresh from today so i have had poached egg on toast for breakfast and dutchcrisp bakes and paste for lunch , ooo and a peach so i am straight back on track thankfully at one time it would have took me months to put myself right after a day like yesterday but now i have control its much better.

Yeeesssss - DH has agreed! Well actually I won a bet and taking me to the cinema was the prize! All this talk of age.... I am 47 on Monday and feel mentally the same as when I was in my 20s/30s!!! I think I've improved with each decade in many ways, such as skills and abilities, confidence, and having fun since I was in my 20's, and definitely no sign of the top of the hill from where I'm standing! Age really is just a number, it's how you feel that counts.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes , it really helped to cheer me up. I've not been on since my last post as during the middle of Wednesday night I had a severe attack of vertigo (not much fun when the only loo in the house is downstairs an you are upstairs!!)) Spent the rest of the night on the sofa until OH came down at 6am wondering where I was. I couldn't stand up without almost keeling over and the room kept spinning even when lying down. Spent all day yesterday ensconced on the sofa with a bucket and a bottle of water. Mahaged some chicken and pasta at 9pm but nothing else all day. Feeling a tad better today but staying off work as don't think it wise to drive just yet.
Lois I'm desperate to go and see Mamma Mia, in fact we were supposed to be going tonight but not sure as I've been so rough.
Wanted to say welcome to nutta and congrats to those with losses so far.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -
Thanks bails and lois.
Yes, Lois I decided to give up on SW, it required more planning and preparation than I had the time or incliniation for. I went back to counting points again simply as a means of controlling my food intake.
I went back to see my GP yesterday and she was happy to let me back onto the reductil so for now, I'm watching what I eat, counting ww points but not attending a class, I'll be going to be weighed at my GP surgery every 2 weeks for the next 3 months.
I'll still be weighing in weekly myself and hopefully will be posting more often on here too.
just back from the dentist, so I'm off to bed for a bit till the anaesthetic wears off.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Thanks Bb for adding me to the list.
Lainie hugs to you and your son. What a fright you have had!
Well done suggs and lemondrop.
I weighed myself again today as I couldn't believe the weight loss and it hasn't gone up. Maybe I can only lose weight when I am not well!! GP last week wanted to put me back on steroids and I know how they make me gain weight so I declined and feel like I am improving slowly without them. Still no exercise except pottering around the house. My wii is getting dusty!
dellybelly and jules, I hope you are both feeling better soon.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
