Brighton_belle wrote: »Efrieze - I would say you are maintaining very well. There is no rule book that defines maintaining as limited to 2lbs either way. To be the same as you were 7 months ago is very very good, and you are getting so much fitter too, so in essance, you are way healthier than you were last xmas.
I guess when you put it like that, it makes me feel a bit better - thanks. The only thing is if I congratulate myself and tlel myself that I have done so well and it's ok to relax and have this or that, then I worry I will blink and I will be back to the beginning again. That's why this thread is so good - I admit my naughtiness and it gives me new resolve to undo the damage as opposed to pretending to yourself that you will sort it out next week without having to admit anything. Denial is a terrible thing. Accept, acknowedlge and move on.0 -

Nice to have you back ajaxgeezer- you always make me laugh!!
Just got in from the gym - Darren, my trainer made me pay for missing it on MOnday so am aching a bit ;0). Did the Ministry of Funny walks in the garden again.
Thanks for the comments about my ankles - with respect I am in the medical world and know all the reasons, but I have never had this problem ever, and am trying to analyse why it is starting now. Even though I go to the gym regularly I do have a sedentary job so I need to walk more. I am going to try to get a 20 minute walk in before I go to work and see if that helps. I haven't worn the fitflops today and they don't seem as bad but that could be a coincidence. Thanks again for the comments.
Thanks BB for the chart - I am wondering how much swollen ankles weigh?????
Missy - you really know how to exercise - well done! I suppose cycling whilst watching cycling is strangely therapeutic!

Thanks for asking:D the left leg is incredibly painful but I am useless at sitting and doing nothing especially just now with the list of things to do around the house, so I am my own worst enemy, I try so hard to get on with it, walk through the pain as it were and sometimes it works and others it makes it a whole heap worse and has me sitting for longer than I would want, I just don't want it to beat me and the kids to see me as unable, there is plenty of time for that in the future:rolleyes: I am a terrible patient ...impatient;)0 -
Good job on the losses guys! Nice to see you back ajax, i love it when people do things like go off the rails, makes me feel soooooo much better! Sounds like youve have a good time without us, but the other forum???? i hope they dont call you ajax, thats like a pet name being reused by another lover.
Guess what everyone? My work colleague said to me today: HAVE YOU LOST WEIGHT? i felt goooooooooooood. As sexual as my work uniform is, its all black so i probably look thinner than i am but i think this is about the first time that i have properly tried to watch what i eat and so far it doesnt feel like im depriving myself. Im going to give myself a gold star!
Beanie: Where?????? We still on the same hymn sheet beanie? haha did you get that? what a pun!!I have never heard of that place so i hope i dont live near it!!

Lois, most of my trip will be in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, thank you for askingLooking forward to it so much. The ferry link between Norway and England is ending - we're on one of the final few sailings *sniff*
is this departing from up north? Id love to do that part of europe, most of my time has been spent down the southern end. Id love to go to lapland!!0 -
Granny: you may be happy that the rat bags are leaving but im not! We have a new breed of children at the top of the road and i hope to god i didnt behave like they did. I keep asking my mum cos im paranoid i might have done but she says i didnt.
Then theres the teenagers who come in to get bra fitted with no intention of buying a bra. What makes me laugh is that they push out their chests to make themselves bigger. Its all silly.
This is what im going to miss when i start full time work, going out and not being near a child! Cant wait to have my own mind ha.0 -

I'm getting quite proud of my cycling. Last week when I first got on my bike, I cycled for a pitiful 2 minutes before I could go no further. Today I cycled for a good half an hour non stop.0

lol ajax, i was sympathetic for a while, but it gets to a stage where you have to say - 'mate we're on the road to 30. stop dating first year art students, you know it's going to lead to a world of pain.'
just been to see prince caspian. feel like a !!!!!! right now. OH needs a shower to wash off the dirty thoughts about susan. we think it's okay for him to be having those thoughts as she's on the way to hell for liking lipstick and stockings anyway(read the last battle). anyone seen journey to the centre of the earth yet? i quite fancy that but i don't know how good it is.
prince caspian wasn't bad, but not nearly as good as the first one. It started well, the arrival in Narnia sent shivers down my spine, but they just seemed to keep shoehorning ANOTHER large scale battle in and by the end of it i was totally desensitised.
got an interview on monday!!!!!! and doing my first doorstep deli party on weds - like a tupperware party. bad timing really so i'll be a real stress puppy at the beginning of the week.0
