  • Have you noticed, if you hover over the red cross it tells you in words which smiley should be there.

Here's my fave, 'cos it's well dodgy - they describe it as a grouphug and it comes up as a 'threesome' . :grouphug:

My son is the oldest in his class BB but he would have been youngest if he'd arrived a bit closer to his due date :p What are you up to this weekend? Have you been getting through all those tasks you had lined up during your leave from work?quote]
Ploughed through quite a few things missy, but felt poorly Thurs & it had to be a duvet day. Yesterday we went to the woodcraft fair at the bently motor & wildfowl museum (I always laugh when I see that title - who put those two things together?) and had a really chilled out afternoon. Today I had good plans to do more, including paint the kitchen, but a trip down the road to the post office and I'm left wiped. Annoying, but today it feels easy enough to just accept and go with it.
I did have a stroke of luck though, as I walked home form the PO,I walked home passed the local charity shop just as they were shouting out - 'everything you can fit into a black bin liner all for £1'. What's a girl to do biggrin.gif. So left with a bag full of clothes, books and bric a brac all for a total of £1. Playing with my new things between foruming. Just found one of the books I got going at cheapest 2nd hand price on amazon for £23blissysmile.gif And it is very small and light to send.
Tomorrow is the open day at the farm my OH is based at for his job and I've volunteered to help with tea and cakes (serve not eat thembiggrin.gif) for the afternoon.
My MSE smilies are up the creek too.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

That is one of the addictive things about selling on Amazon - when you come home and list the books you have collected - every so often you find a 'little gem'.

BTW I love your little running man.

Hello from granny  --- the eating machine. I seem to be able to do a day one, even a day two and a day three then it all goes pear shaped (probably more likely pear crumble with custard shaped) and I stuff food in my mouth until I feel slightly ill. If some one can suggest a solution I'd be exceptionally pleased.

Raph --- many many congratulations. Don't forget I'm going to be matron of honour.

These smilies ... why do some of them show up and not others? BB's running man and big grins were there ... and FFM's threesome... but not Missy's winks, grins and tongues. (Gosh that sounds rude)
  • Congrats Raph and never feel you can't post good stuff!!! I'm always whinging and whining about something o good stuff takes my mind of it for a while!!
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:

  • I feel really bad about posting about me and C with all that's going on with delly and gert :(
But me and C decided last night that as we were sort of already engaged we wouldn't wait til October and we proposed to each other last night. It's all official now and I'm wearing my ring :)
I joined in with C's football training yesterday, I enjoyed it, even if I was pants. I did manage to score a goal thou!! :D Going to go and train each week that my shifts allow, don't think I'll volunteer for any matches anytime soon thou. It's different exercise than going to the gym, so hopefully it will have a good effect on the weightloss.
Doing a boot sale tomorrow morning trying to get rid of junk and make some cash, must remember to take some fruit so I'm not tempted by the burger van!

    :TCongratulations :love::heartpuls:heart: :T

    Love

Hi Granny, you have already done so well having lost 33lb with 27lb to go. I recently read a book called Only Fat People Skip Breakfast - it's the best 'diet' book I have ever read. It really made me think about my 'binging' and I am a definite 'binger'. Although I think I have finally 'cracked it' thanks to this book. I have recognised that I am a binger and can deal with it - the turning point for me was when the author said you can still be slim and be a binger.

You may be able to get a copy from your local library, alternatively there's a copy for sale fairly cheap on Greenmetropolis (no it's not my copy) http://www.greenmetropolis.com/book.asp?id=1183360&author=Janogly+Lee&title=Only%20Fat%20People%20Skip%20Breakfast you do need to check that they are not selling the one that came free with Slimmers World as that was an abridged version. Have a read of the 'description' and 'what the papers say' - I think you will find it is the behaviour you describe above that is dealt with by this book.

    Hope that might help.

Apart from not being able to explain why FFM threesome showed up I think it's the MSE ones that aren't working - mine are from a diff website that I parachute in to my post by technical wizardry juggle.gif.
