I joined in with C's football training yesterday, I enjoyed it, even if I was pants. I did manage to score a goal thou!! Going to go and train each week that my shifts allow, don't think I'll volunteer for any matches anytime soon thou. It's different exercise than going to the gym, so hopefully it will have a good effect on the weightloss.
Doing a boot sale tomorrow morning trying to get rid of junk and make some cash, must remember to take some fruit so I'm not tempted by the burger van!

i havent posted for ages about my weight.
I have stuck for the last 5 weeks and didnt loose a thing but this week i losat a whopping 5.2lbs this week so i have lost a total of 26lbs so far.

Congrats on your happiness, I'm doing a bootfair again tomorrow if the weather holds up. Hopefully it will be the last one for a while. I'm trying to persuade DD to come with me and help, she does usually but is probably a bit fed up with them now - I've offered her 1/2 of the profit not just the profit from the sale of her things.

I know what you mean about the burger van, DD usually comes back with chips that she can't finish (guess who then sees them off), last time she bought 5 doughnuts and could only eat 2, so I had to eat 3 :eek: .

I take dry muesli (add the milk later), flask of hot water, tea bags, bottle of milk and a banana to try to stay on healthy food at the boot fair - I can never eat before I leave home due to the early starts - tomorrows one is 7am start (the other one I could have gone to was 6am :eek: )

missyg, how's the wound? Hopefully you are recovering nicely.

I discovered a bit of the internal stitches poking through my scar this morning - I did tell the doctor that dissolving stitches didn't dissolve inside me last time - I don't think he believed me. I've been tugging at it but it hurts so I'll wait and see if it works its way out gradually - DS thinks it's just great, DD thinks it's gross.

Went for my first bike ride since the OP today, only to the library and shops, just over 4km. Funny though, the hills didn't look as steep as they usually do.

Congratulations Raphael and C! I won't forget your engagement anniversary as it was also my son's birthday y'day!

Been strict all week again in the hope of another nought point something loss, but TOTM due which seems to be working against me :rolleyes: I'm doing all I can realistically do though - really want to get back to the days of being able to string two weeks of losses together, however small :rotfl:

Thanks for asking FFM It is a lot more comfortable, but also more swollen Guessing this is normal while it heals but I'll keep an eye on it (hey maybe that'll be worth a 100g weight loss when it eventually subsides!). The remaining surgical strips can come off on Monday which might make my eyes water a bit :rotfl:

Glad to hear you're back on the saddle! How are you feeling about your maintaining at the moment? Are things getting easier?
