Hugs to Beanie too, sad times at the mo x
Tags, I think Granny's right, they're just looking after you extra well; great news, hope you're feeling relieved.
Efrieze, it is pants about your friend, you're doing this for yourself though and although it may have been nice to have a friend, when you're out there you're on your own anyway. You're strong, you've proved this by taking on a real challenge, so you'll do great! I'll be there with you in spirit, especially when it gets tough, and I'm sure everyone else will be too x
Love the photo Marion, what a cutie!

  • Delly - I really am sorry to hear that things have taken a turn for the worse. The support and advice given by BB is spot on. I know we will all be thinking of you.

    Love
    Marion
ps - If you have a joint account go and empty it now and open a new account in your name only for your wages to go into. See if you can get a good locksmith to change the locks on your doors. Also if you have a credit card which he has access to - try and cancel that now too. It is sad but now is the time to try and protect yourself financially. It is time to get mad:mad:! Don't try to protect his reputation with his mother - make sure she knows exactly what has been going on. You will need as much support from all sides as you can get.:grouphug:

Thanks Marion - I've already got my own account set up with my wages ready to go into it next week. there's no debt in my name, only his so I'm sorted that way too. His mum's bringing DS home tonight after he goes to work, if she asks, I'll tell her then but don't expect an Irish mother to turn against her son, it's just not possible:D .

Talked to my family and have their complete support. Funny, almost all of my family knew something was up but never asked. Parents are willing to let me move back in with DS and dog when the house gets sold. I'm willing to sell it for morgage repayment plus legal fees so that I can be clear as soon as possible and not get into too much financial trouble. ( a real bargain too - 3 bed semi detached, 2 bath own driveway, close to local amenities and schools all for a bargain £100k -needs work though.)

At hime now, and he's still in bed. Will let you know if there's any developments later.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

delly not sure what has been happening as I seem to have missed something along the line what with being in Spain for a month but NO,NEVER BEG,no one has a right to drag you down that far and there is no respect for the begger, you stand proud, upright and honest to yourself, whatever happens from now on is going to be hell for a while but it will get so much better that you will eventually wonder why you were so concerned?
Lean on us, your family, tell his mother the truth, whether she turns or not is by the by it will be the best thing you can do,don't forget you had every right to look at his comp, if there was nothing there it would not have been an issue would it? You are not to blame although as bails said it seems a classic case of blame switch to take off his guilt, one of my friends husbands left her and it was later, much later in the calm when she asked why he did all he did? His answer? To make her push him out, extremely damaging mind games.
There will be many times you question yourself but know that we are behind you and will give you any help and advice we can and never question your ramblings, we will be on hand to unscramble them for you:D

tagz glad your news is good;)

suggs 1.8lb gain? Drop in the ocean;)

    beanie hugs for you too

NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........
  • Well - what little communication I did get from him this evening wasn't good - basically, he doesn't think he's able to make the compromises & commitments I need. I've told him I'm done, I want to be married fair enough but if he can't give me what I need then I guess it's over.

He's ripping that I checked the online forum that he posts on - he says he needs something that's just "his" sacred, private , whatever and I've spoiled it - he's had to go and change his passwords and everything now - poor baby. he doesn't want to talk to friends or family and won't go to Relate, so there's nothing more I can do...

I'm heartbroken, devastated. I truly went into this marriage beliving it was for life - we went through so much together, the Omagh bomb, me losing my job, tonnes of debt, a massive family fight, infertility, post natal depression, another massive family fight but on the other side, his depression, I can hardly believe that it's all over just because of something so stupid. Go figure!

Oh well, on the bright side, I'll be skinny again soon cos I've hardly eaten anything today with the stress and upset. I guess there'll be plenty more of those to come eh?

  • delly, he may have had a point about personal space and privacy - had he not gotten into that situation with the girl. it seems he can;t understand that he blew it and he's transferring the blame to you. You can't moan about not being trusted if you've proved yourself untrustworthy. You have to earn it back and he just doesn't seem to see that. You sound like you're in that numb cold place on the other side. we're all here for youxx

    1.5 lb loss this week.

Hugs to you db - I can't add to what's already been said - but hold your head up as much as you can even when it's tough - you've done nothing wrong no matter what he tries to tell you.

Beanie - I hope things improve for you soon.

Efrieze - good luck - will be with you in spirit :j

BTW if he takes the PC the library may have a pc they'll let you use.

  • thank you everyone, I can't tell you what your replies and advice mean to me. I've spent the last couple of hours in a complete mess. Told his mum when she dropped ds off. She offered to talk to him but we both know there's no point

She has given me some advice and I intend to follow it all tomorrow. I'm in for a really busy day tomorrow..... It's taken me about 10 mins to write this message. Can't stop crying
