Donnygal - yes, it has been so warm these past couple of nights
Whoops, just noticed that you're in Spain!
Redruby - good luck for your OH's driving test
Yes, I ended up not listening to the Murray-Nadal match, but what I did see/hear of it, he really was outclassed. But he still did well so
I've decided that this is the day when I do a huge declutter. Home alone until about 3 which I always prefer. First doing some flute playing, lost all motivation and got to do a lot of practice. Hopefully will be getting laptop back today. Last week I had to go and pay £90 to get a new hard-drive and upgrade the RAM, the day I got it back I spilt tea over it, and apparently there is a problem with "the board". So hopefully I'll get that back today and it won't be too expensive.
Have a good day0 -
Morning everyone
i`ve been MIA for a couple of days for two reasons. Reason one is that i installed AVG 8 on the pc and it found some nasties lurking within straight away, i`ve done multiple scans with that and various other programs and removed them and then changed the passwords for all the important sites that i visit, that was a lengthy task in itself:rolleyes:
The second reason (Kazwookie take note) is that i`ve also bought a greenhouse:D the bloomin thing has already taken two whole days up from early morning to late at night and is nowhere near finished. The base is now down and concreted in and two sides are together up to shoulder height but i need a rest from it or i`ll scream.
The weather here today is dull and miserable and there has been a lot of rain in the night so the ground is sodden, just the excuse i need to get the housew*rk done as it`s not been touched all week:o i got caught out in a heavy downpour yesterday and got soaked and i have a lovely cold and really bad congestion as a result so i feel lousy today and very tired.
On a brighter note the phone i ordered for DH from ebay has just this minute arrived so i have something to play around with later when i have a sit down and a cuppa:D Think i scared the delivery guy though cos i look a right state ATM and i`m not even dressed yet
Candygirl - sorry to hear about the job, sounds as if your ex-friend needs a good kick up the backside.
Anniestar - Huge hugs to you
Smoky - Hugs for you and the little ones also.
Mioliere - i do believe i missed your anniversary - belated good wishes for you and Mr Mioliere
Donny - Good to hear you`re enjoying yourself in the sun
Beth - Hugs for you and your family.
Right i`m off to clean and refill the bm as for some strange reason it`s made a brick so we will be short of bread later, will have loads of breadcrumbs for stuffing though:rotfl:
Catch up later.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -

just a quickie before i head off to work. I'm having tent dramas - the tent i ordered on friday which promised next day delivery hasn't been despatched and the co aren't answering their phone. no money has gone out of my accont so I've canelled the order and am trying to get another one before friday!!!! otherwise there'll be four of us in my teeny tiny tent. exoh will lend us his massive one if needs be but it takes an hour to put up.
have a good day and hugs all round
stefI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
:hello: Good Morning!
((((hugs)))) to Smoky, Candygirl, Jayward, PenPin, Mrs Mix and anyone else who could use one.
I have not been around for a while and needed to think some things through, all sorted now though! School breaks up this week (only 2 more shifts to go :j ) I will not be going back in September, too many changes making the job far more physical and draining, I cannot afford to get ill again so will be back home saving the pennies the Old style way. I will miss the children though!
The garden is keeping me busy as we have dug another veg bed and have more to do. We had the first tomatoes last week and the spinach and courgettes are coming on a treat.
Discovered that the puppy likes to swim  she can't resist the river on one of our weekly walks, thank goodness the weather is good and she dries quickly. The ducks were not impressed though!:D
Right enough of my waffling, off to do something useful and have a go at making some flapjacks in the remoska.
Have a lovely day!
Catz xOur days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.
Jan grocery challenge £35.77/£1200 -
Second load of washing is about to finish in the machine and needs to be hung out.
Might make another pot of tea and see if that will wake me up.
DD has a friend staying over tonight so might make a huge lasagne with veg mince for tea.
Also want to collect prescription and get some jumbo eggs from the weekly market here.

The wife who is "standing by her man!" rather than by a vulnerable child is a disgrace to the word grandmother.
Candygirl
I have strong feeling your "friend" is not as happy as she makes out and that may be why she is trying to snaffle your job. Not an excuse but it may be a reason.
Hugs to everyone and see you later."This site is addictive!"

Morning everyone, not managed to get onhere much but have been busy oldstyling.
Washed all downstairs back windows over weekend with the newspaper vinegar trick. Brought them up a treat.
I roasted a lump of beef on sunday but somehow forgot about it.
Anyway yesterday I slowcooked the roast (it was a bit tough) and it came out lovely, moist but with that roast beef flavour as well.:D
Heading to work soon via marks and sparks as they have that £10.00 offer on again. Not old style but reckon would be a nice treat for friday night and also means I shouldn't have to cook.
Lovely warm weather but rain predicted here.
Best get some washing in and out and motivate myself to get going.
Hoping you all have a lovely productive day. xxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
